BolAAzuL Component AV Video Switch Box 3 in 1 Out RGB Component AV Switcher

Component video is the high quality alternative to composite video and as good as Scart, though slightly less common. You might find it on older equipment. My TV has only one component input, as is the norm. But I have a DVD player and two games consoles with high quality component outputs. This switch box makes switching between the three a breeze. Everything is clearly marked and the action of the buttons is positive. Very pleased with my purchase.

I use mine for retro gaming with a Retrotink 5x. It's currently handling high quality PS2, Dreamcast and Wii component cables going into a modern OLED and it holds up even under scrutiny. It's perfect for all intents and purposes; no observable loss in video or audio quality, and certainly for the price, I can highly recommend it even to the videophiles among you.

I brought this to switch two tape decks between one another. Inside is just simple switching, no electronics completely lossless connection. You could definitely use this for other applications. A little bit light in weight, so needs to be secured to a desk, but for the money a good investment.

Using this to connect a PS2 and a Wii via component to a Retrotink 4k, and from there to the living room TV. No frills - there's no remote, changing inputs is done via physical buttons on the front that mechanically shift the connections around inside the box, but it feels sturdy and reliable. No degradation in picture quality that I can see, and it's small enough to sit under the TV without being noticed.

Brilliant item for retro gamers. Easy to use and works just as described with no loss of quality.

Goods arrived damaged. Button 1 popped out when I had taken it out the box. Not a good experience I needed to complete a job so re order a different make. Didn’t want to chance it again

Decent

This just worked instantly as you would want it to. There is no detectable (to me at least) processing or lag, so it just seems to be a passive pass through, which is perfect for this application. The build is nice and solid and looks professional grade. I would recommend this as it solves a problem well, if you have multiple component devices and want to easily switch between them. I cannot think of a negative, so 5 stars all round!

Lo que dice en el título. Acompañaba a un Retrotink y no hubo forma de que no hiciera el zumbido del audio.

Works perfectly. Did not notice any signal degradation. It is a bit on the light side though so in my setup I had to tape it down with double-sided tape so the cabling wouldn't lift it in the air but that's not really a big deal to me.
