This book holder is great especially for the affordable price, and seems quite sturdy. The only snag was inserting the metal plate into its slot. The first portion went in nicely but the second half was horrid. I finally resorted to tapping it in with screwdriver & hammer. Orher than that it was easy when you follow instructions especially the youtube demonstration.

It seems to hold the book well but with the weight of the book once you get it clamp done a gets top-heavy real quick and you’re supposed to be able to rotate it back out-of-the-way so that you can sleep or sit up in bed but every time I do that it starts raining and the clamp comes loose and eventually wants to fall off. I gave up trying to use this soon after I bought it because it is so flimsy. I just thought I would give it a try again and the joints broke. So cheaply made. This is a complete waste of money. It is garbage.

There's no other device that conveniently sets you up to read while lying down. The clasps work perfectly for holding any book firmly, with ease of turning pages while keeping them snug. They're strong to hold heavier books (even when faced upside down), but light to allow for easy movement. Beautifully designed, highly recommend

Looks to be easy to use, can't wait for my FIL who has to be flat of his back to use it. He loves to read.

This is a pain to assemble and is not sturdy. The clamp doesn’t fit a headboard, it is heavy and unsightly and does not work for a hardcover book. Save your money!
