We didn't know when each filter was changed last so we decided to just start fresh and replaced all of the filters in the system at once. The water tastes great, just as good or better than bottled water. For a new homeowner this is a deal if you don't know when the filter was last changed. It's way more expensive to buy these one at a time and it wasn't worth the trouble to figure out which filter needed changing by trial and error so getting them all made the most sense.
