It removes material quickly without clogging, making drywall shaping faster and more precise. I'm a union carpenter and hang drywall daily mon-fri. Tajima makes quality tools ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ but this works great for that scenario *by M***2 on July 22, 2017* Quickly and efficiently removes the material from the edge of the sheetrock. I mostly use it when I mess up a cut by less than a quarter inch. Doesn't happen too often, but this works great for that scenario. The heavy teeth have a guide on the sides that grab the edges of the board when rasping it, so you don't slip off, and due to it's length, it averages out rough cuts pretty effectively, making your cut a little more straight if it's off angle in some cases. The teeth are still going strong, I've done 2 home remodels with this rasp and they still have a good bite to them. The grips on the sides are good enough, and provide a sturdy grip even for heavy material removal.
