Had makeup in it
Apparently, these are reconditioned stylus tips or something. Mine arrived today and had some makeup in it. I cleaned it according to the video, then cleaned it some more, then cleaned it some more, took a q-tip to it, then cleaned it some more, and cleaned it some more. Finally, it looks clean and seems to be clean. It probably works ok, too. But I did not try it yet. It does have a much better operational feel than the stylus it replaced when it was new. So, I think (?) it is a fully functional quality stylus. Would have rated 5 stars if not for the makeup in it.

Works great until it doesn’t.
hard to reassemble after cleaning. Watch YouTube for instructions. If properly cleaned and reassembled it will last about 10-12 months but even then, the parts wear out at about 12 months. I just ordered my 3rd replacement.

WHEN it's working properly, it's GREAT!
I'm on my third within a single year. BAD product, GREAT idea. When it works it's FANTASTIC!! But let's face it-- it brakes almost immediately. I did have my second one last about ten applications before the pressure just quit.I never had REPLACEMENTS -- I always purchased them assuming it was ME...Now I know..It's THEM, not me.This last one, although I buy- NEW- didn't look new..and sure enough it's not working after two applications.I clean the stylus thoroughly after each use, hoping that would give it a long life...DOES NOT MATTER! It still goes kaput .. They should lower the price so we can RE-PURCHASE FAIRLY ..OR jst improve the DERN product.

Very Disappointed!!
I purchased the replacement airbrush stylus to upgrade my older one. I received it on December 10th and used it 2-3 times a week until January 30th, when the control lever broke and stayed in the open position. No matter what I tried, it just sprayed out all of the makeup in about 2 seconds. I went to Amazon.com on Feb. 1 to return it, only to find that I had “missed” the return window by one day! What a waste of more than $80 - I certainly expected better quality for my money, and at least a 60-90 day Warranty. Buyer beware!
