Review: Our yard is very shady with large trees (with large roots). Over the past few years the grass has been slowly dying, even the "heavy shade" variety. Started over-seeding with this clover and after one year the yard looks great. It grows in about 2 weeks and is a bright shade of green. It handles the shade well, better than grass for sure. No deer in our area but it turns out this clover is very popular with rabbits. We're in the upper midwest and seeding in early-April had the best results. Originally tried in late-summer to fall and didn't get much growth. The clover seeds from April were growing everywhere by May though.

Planted this and had 48 hours of rain on and off. I figured I would have to replant. It all came up and is growing rapidly! Deer and turkeys will be happy as well as the bees!
