However; these are not offered on Amazon and you would need to call us direct for purchase. **Q: Does the base plate have wheels or rollers so it will easily move along the cutting surface?** A: Rollers **Q: Purchased one of these a few months ago. Works great on firm foam, bunches up on anything softer than 28lb. Why?** A: Try using a silicone spray on the blade. **Q: Are replacement blades available?** A: We do offer replacement blades in both 8" and 12" sizes, however they are not listed on Amazon. You would have to call us to place an order. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works well, much safer than a band saw for small trim and bevel cuts *by V***S on February 16, 2025* We cut foam for all kinds of projects and this tool works better than the band saw for certain applications. Large pieces of foam that exceed the 20' throat of the band saw are simple with this saw. It has little rollers on the bottom of the base so you can glide it across the table and follow your cut line easily. The blades move quickly and you can vary the speed so tool pressure is not an issue going through thick pieces.We needed to make a bevel cut on the edge of a foam sheet and our band saw is not practical because the blade tends to suck the little cut off piece down into the wheel. This tool is easier because the reciprocating action means it doesn't pull down all the time like the band saw, and you can run a bevel by carfully holding the base and running it along the foam like a draw knife.If you work with foam, I recommend you consider this tool because it saves a lot of work. Get a set of spare blades and you'll be all set.
