Best Adjustability for Good Fit
I have had Dewalt hearing protection muffs for a decade. I teach construction classes and buy a lot of different brands for the students but always wear Dewalt ones myself. This Interceptor model is the best! For women, they adjust well to a smaller head size and block sound well. I'll admit I like the yellow color so that I can spot mine on the jobsite or in the shop. The headband slides down so I can store them in a smaller space but I 3D print a wall mount for mine so I like that I can slide the muffs down to hang them.

Good Ear protection! But a little small.
I prefer ear muffs over ear plugs, just cause they are easy to put on & take off. They can be extended but for me, I have an almost huge head, lol, so putting them over your head will get uncomfortable eventually, especially with goggles on: the strap will be held tight on the side of your head with these muffs on. I actually put them on with the head band hanging towards the back of my head. This can lead to a little bit of issue with certain head movements, as they allow for loud noise to seep in, I mean you can(& you should, depending on what job your doing or what environment your in) wear ear plugs in addition with these muffs just in case. Overall I just needed them for a one semester college class of construction, so I wasn't really exposed to too much ear-damaging noise. - Usually if I wore these muffs for more than two hours, only then would they hurt my head, but keep in mind that I also wore goggles with eyeglasses, so both eyeglasses and goggle strap are held extra tightly on my head with the muffs on, which is a good thing, but to an extent before the pain comes on. Its really not that bad though, they're tolerable. -Oh, and they are definitely bulky, I knew they were going to be big but when I had the physical item delivered, boy were they HUGE in my hand and head! haha but more comfortable for me than ear plugs, cause I have small ear canals. - I have used them at least once a week for about 4 months, dropped them about three times, and they still seem sturdy and tough. Good Dewalt product:)

Good hearing protection.
Good Noise Cancelling. I wear these when I’m using battery operated equipment (mostly a leaf blower) which can be quite loud. They feel like good ear protection.

Got a pea head? This is perfect for you lol (No insults intended guys!)
Though I am a die hard Dewalt fan, I believe there could be an improvement on this particular item. Only con is: -Could make the extensions longer and more adjustable. I am 6 feet and have a proportional head, but this fit is max out and just barely fits. An inch longer on my head and would be too small so that could be an issue for some. This also effects how its wrapped on your neck after u take it off. I can't even keep it there cuz the earmuffs are literally choking me. DEWALT....pls make extension LONGER! Pros: -Takes all the abuse I've given it -VERY comfortable to wear, especially for long drilling -Blocks out a good amount of noise but not deafening to the point where u can't hear others talk -Able to "cringe" and fold inside the head strap making it more compact for transport Bottom line: If you got a small to average head and a thin neck, get it. If your head looks like a caricature cartoon that Uncle Jim draws on 4th of July at the local fair, look elsewhere lol. Thank you for reading my 2 cents and have fun drilling!
