This is my 2nd purchase of this item. We bought one 4 years ago but mistakenly left it outside over winter and due to Ohio winters it cracked on us this year and we had to replace it. I bought the more expensive Hayward one that didn't work because my water level was too low by just a couple inches. This is great. Good price. Easy to use and works great with our manual pool sweeper. The previous one lasted 4 years and if I would've brought it inside over winter I'm sure it would've lasted longer. Don't let the price fool you it's a good quality product.

This two-piece vac adapter was the answer for me- allowed my Kreepy Krawly bottom-cleaner to finally work the way it's supposed to--I had received the flat bottom piece with my skimmer housing, but never an elbow adapter. Attaching the hose to the upright on the round base worked, but what a hassel! The elbow and the base have notch-system, so the elbow seats properly. I believe the round base, however must be able to navigate a bit side-to-side, which is good for the cleaner navigation, also. Definitely recommended!!

If you have a regular pool filter, this would be fantastic! It didn't fit my Summer Waves pool filter as it was a little too big. Gave it to my neighbor as a back up for his pool.

I have had my above ground pool skimmer for about 3 1/2 years and the suction cover finally cracked, due to age, exposure and chemicals. This one is a perfect fit for a replacement and I am now able to use my pool cleaner again.

The tubular part does not lock on the plate so with a whole lot if movement, it keeps coming disconnected and you have to keep stopping. Would not buy again. If the filter basket has a handles, it does not sit well on top.

Exactly what I needed ! I had the type that sticks straight up and it was a pain trying to get the vacuum hose over it to clean the pool. This design is fantastic! I just finished cleaning my pool and had great suction due to this plate. It is made to fit two sizes of vacuum hoses mine is a 1.5 and it also will fit a smaller hose. Extremely happy with this purchace and great value too.

Item (elbow) arrived broken. Given the satisfactory level of packaging, and lack of damage to the packaging, one can only conclude that the item was already broken when packed. I should also mention that the elbow was made of such a thin and flimsy plastic, that it most likely would have broken during usage anyway. I cannot recommend this product due to its flimsy construction. Don't buy it.

Because of the location of our pool deck, using the straight skimmer plate is a bit of a struggle. This 90 degree plate takes care of the problem. It goes in from the skimmer opening and locks in place with the suction. Works very well.

Previous owners of my house built a deck around the pool and decided to block the top of the skimmer. Not smart at all., so I can only vacuum via the weir door.... so this works perfectly. The only issue was the two pieces don't hold together very well, so i took some Teflon tape and just added a layer or two in order to make it a snug fit. Now it stays together.

Nearly perfect product. Had to notch a couple of grooves to get a better seal with my skimmer. Highly recommended for anyone tired of having their pump suck air.
