The Orbit 67000 8 Port Adjustable Flow Drip Manifold is a compact, durable irrigation accessory designed to distribute water efficiently through up to eight 1/4 inch drip lines. Ideal for beds, containers, and replacement of spray heads, it supports optimal plant hydration when paired with filters and pressure regulators.

## Description

Drip manifolds attach to the top of 1/2 in. male pipe thread (MPT) PVC risers of various lengths and create a simple way to carry water via 1/4 in. drip tubing to trees, shrubs, perennials, or annuals in beds or containers. This makes them excellent as a direct replacement for existing spray heads. Drip manifolds come in a variety of port configurations from one to eight lines, and there is even a version which allows you to run four drip lines and place a shrub head adapter on top of it for unique situations which require both spray and drip. Flow control versions are excellent choices for non-pressure compensating emitters and micro-sprinklers, while non-flow control versions are appropriate for pressure-compensating emitters and emitter tubing. The 1/4 in. barbs on the manifold rotate 360 degrees for ease of insertion and positioning of 1/4 in. drip tubing. On non-culinary secondary water, install a minimum 120-mesh filter or pressure regulator to prevent debris from plugging emitters and micro-sprinklers.

The manifolds even have a built in filter that is easy to access and clean. Individual pressure controls make it easy to adjust the spray radius for each of the 8 outputs. Caveat: be careful when attaching 1/4” line to the output tubes, they are prone to snapping off if you handle them roughly. If one does break, you can shut that one off with the adjustment screw.

Revamped the drip system in the hoop houses. These things work great. They make it easier to plumb drip sprinkler heads on 1/4” line. The manifolds even have a built in filter that is easy to access and clean. Individual pressure controls make it easy to adjust the spray radius for each of the 8 outputs. Caveat: be careful when attaching 1/4” line to the output tubes, they are prone to snapping off if you handle them roughly. If one does break, you can shut that one off with the adjustment screw.

The design of this 8 port distributor is greatly improved over prior models. In prior models you could control each individual port. In this model you can control each individual port and the flow for all eight ports with a separate control. That is a great addition to the unit.
