Does the job!
This comes with a suction cup or screws to mount. The suction cup would not work on my tile shower. I had to drill holes through the tile and mount. It's not metal, it's plastic. It works as expected and I'm not by any means disappointed in that, but I am a bit disappointed that it's not metal. Thinking I may order another to have on hand if this one ever breaks. I'd hate to have to find something else to cover those holes in the tile because what's the odds of another brand having the same spacing between screws.....

Glad I bought three
Surprised at how well the suction works without the permanant attachment method. (I will eventually use the permanant method if they start to fall off) So far, I haven't had to reattach them. The receiver is a little small for all three of my handheld shower heads and must be pressed in very tight or may slip out during water vibration from shower head. But, once you know you have to firmly seat it, it stays during the whole shower. I love it, so convenient. My other shower heads are so tall you have to tip toe to remove them. Now, I can leave them shoulder level and it makes it more practical for my young grandchild when using the shower, too.

Almost Perfect
It is very easy to put up, and it does stay in place. It's been up for a few months, using only the suction cup, and it's never fallen off the wall. If the surface of your wall won't accommodate the suction cup, and you don't want to drill a hole, you can always use some kitchen and bath silicone to keep it in place. The piece has a 3" diameter and fits nicely on a standard 4" X 4" bathroom tile. It sticks out 2 1/4" from the wall. Unfortunately my hand held shower head doesn't fit into it perfectly. It doesn't fall out, but it does twist to one side. All in all, I can make it work because the plastic has a little "give" to it - just don't push too hard or the wall mount will crack. Note regarding the size: the opening is slightly tapered so it's larger at one end by about 1/8". The opening measures 7/8" at the top and 3/4" on the bottom.

Not so great in the shower. but....
This item is not so great in the shower because it tends to fall off easily after only an hour. The center can be filed down to fit but it doesn't fit right out-of-the-box. Like everything else you have to do a little bit of modification to make things work the way you want them to. This one does have some strengths to it however. The darn thing is very strong unlike others which tend to break because the plastic is too flexible. At the moment I got it stuck to my mirror which it holds to rather nicely. I'm using it to hold my razor instead of my shower thing. It doesn't quite work in my shower because it falls off. I got a better one than doesn't fall off called the mommy's Little helper shower handle grip thingy. The mommies Little helper one doesn't fall off but the grip is a little weak. But I like the way it goes on real fast so I ordered four more and I got them all over the place inside my shower stall. So I could put that thing in any given place. Ya gotta love it. This one, I would not buy another one of. And that's my product review of the LDR5202433W permanent or suction showerhead wall mount piece of crap. Remember, if you buy this one you may have to file the inside of the cone to make it fit your specific device. And it can be screwed in with two screws to hold it in place so it won't fall off, therefore if you do that, it is a pretty good item. Screw the suction. Just fasten it down. That's what it's for, like this it does apparently well.

great product, gotta know how to use it
this is a wonderful invention! first as others say, make sure your tub wall is very clean. soap and water and alcohol clean. get the suction cup very wet and press against the wall very hard and it will stick just fine. it may take a min to get it to stay up there but once it does, it will not come off easily. i put it low in my shower so now my 3 yr old can shower in a child size shower and she feels like a big girl. it helps wonderfully! Love this, well worth the money

Good Idea. Bad Design.
Hello folks. Sorry but this shower accessory did not perform for me as I expected it would. For starters my hand shower spray did not fit the holder slot. Damn thing kept falling out on the slightest bump and pissing me off. secondly, the suction cup was always loosing suction on the smooth tile wall, pissing me off. This thing immediately found it's way to the big round file. Needless to say - don't buy this one. I found the Delta Faucet U3001-PK Universal Showering Components Wall Mount, Chrome to work much better.

Don't bother.
I didn't have any problem with the suction cup. I cleaned the suction cup & the smooth fiberglass shower wall with rubbing alcohol, and mounted it according to the included directions; and it stayed in place for several months. After it finally fell, I cleaned the surfaces again, and re-attached it for another several months. The next time it fell, however, I left it off, since I realized that nobody was using it anyway. It's 3 separate pieces: The suction cup that goes on the wall, a hard plastic washer that fits over the threaded stud (which sticks out from the suction cup), and the plastic shower head holder that screws onto the threaded stud. The tighter you screw down the outer plastic part, the tighter the suction cup will hold (since the threaded stud gets pulled up into the plastic body, and brings the center of the suction cup with it. I did, however, have two major problems with the device. First, my Waterpik showerhead did not fit into the holder. I used a narrow sanding drum, attached to a drill press, to widen the hole. Unfortunately, the plastic is thin enough that I had to stop sanding it (out of fear of going all the way through the plastic) before it was wide enough to fit properly. It now fits well enough to use, but is very tight. The second issue I have with this device is that it holds the handle vertically (parallel to the wall) -- aiming the water straight out (perpendicular to the wall), and does not allow for any adjustment. I bought this so that a 7-year-old and a 5-year-old could shower more easily (and comfortably) by themselves; but since it will only spray water directly in their faces, instead of downward like a normal shower head, it's useless for them (and for anybody else, as far as I can tell). So if you don't mind having to modify it in order to use it at all, and you don't mind having the water spraying you directly in the face (instead of down on your head), go for it. Otherwise, save yourself some money and aggravation by not buying this useless piece of crap.

Great product
The Moen shower head we purchased came with a holder that attached to the shower's waterline but we use a diverter valve so we can use either the existing showerhead or the hand held showerhead. We purchased this wall mount so we could mount the hand held showerhead any where we wanted. This wall mount couldn't have been easier to install in its suction mode. The suction mode holds it very securely and I would recommend it over the permanent mount because 1) it is much easier to install (no tools), 2) can easily be relocated if you find that necessary after using it for a while, and 3) can be easily be removed without a trace if you later decide to remove the hand held shower. An excellent product for an excellent price.
