Great, durable product
I was initially unsure of the quality when I purchased the unit. I'm happy to report that I've used this for almost a year on jobsites and it works great. It's built durable and battery life is really good. Laser receiver picks up the laser in direct sunlight but you might have to slow down the spin of the laser. For the price, it's worth considering. I've installed several septic systems with it and compared it to other costly brand. I'd buy another if I needed one but this one is still working without any issues.

It's a great buy for the money.
It works as it should and just as well as lasers that cost a lot more money. I use it for dirt work only and it's so much better than my old level. The instructions leave a lot to be desired but luckily I've worked with similar units in the past.

Awesome.
For the money, this thing is awesome. Easy to use, directions are a bit confusing, but easy to figure out. I just hand level the tripod, to get close, and this unit does the rest. Red beam not visible at all in the sun, but no worries. The receiver works great and is very accurate.

Solid laser
Used this outdoors to grade a ditch on my property, worked very well. For someone like me who didn't need a professional model with all the bells and whistles, but still had need for a laser grade/level this was an excellent purchase at a great price.

It does what it needs to do.
It definitely works well. Only downside is I would rather have replaceable batteries because if the internal battery goes bad , then that’s pretty much it. Also if the charger cord is lost or damaged you’re in a bind but other than that it’s well worth the money

Works great, especially given the price
It's a level and it works. 1/3 the cost of branded product but probably made in the same factory as the branded products (or at the least the components).

Defective - I hope
I think the one I got was defective out of the box. At least I hope they all aren't like this one. Well, can't say it's the best. I had high hopes. I received this seemingly undamaged, unboxed it, and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't rotate or self level. After reading every piece of literature I could find (not much out there, nor are the instructions much), I still couldn't figure it out. My wife took over at that point because obviously I'm not one to read instruction thoroughly, and she failed at figuring it out. It kept making noise like it was trying to self level, but wouldn't, and wouldn't spin. It would spin in manual mode, but not when in self level mode. Turns out the pendulum thing was stuck to the far side, I gave it a good whack (yeah I know), and it loosened up and started working. I needed it immediately for a job, or I would have sent it back for a new one right away. I used it on a small garage project, and seemed to work ok for the rough grading I was doing, but it would continuously stop spinning for no apparent reason. It didn't get jarred or anything, just stopped spinning, then would start again in a minute, then stop in a minute or two. The battery was fully charged. Them come to find out that at about 100' it is out of level on the Y axis by one inch. I can't use this because it spins intermittently, and is not level to within specifications. Unless the manufacturer can send me a replacement that actually works, or tell me how I can calibrate it, and make it spin more than a minute, this was a big waste of money, should have spent the money and bought a better brand.
