Is this the news formula after the recall?

the new zantac is using the same ingredient at pepcid, not the original formula. Very deceptive marketing!

Does it work as good as the old zantec that had Ranitidine?

I’ve been on the original Zantac since the early 90s when I suffered from an ulcer when I was 10. So since they brought this new formula I’ve been noticing that some times I gave to take this twice a day to help relive acid indigestion when I took 1 pill a day of the old formula. I’d say it depends of your body and what you ate.

Ummm....famotidine is pepcid/pepcid ac. what is going on here with this product? mislabeled?

What I’d learned was that the old Zantac was Ranitidine, was found to contain NDMA, a probable human carcinogen, that levels were found to increase over time when stored at room temperature. Levels far above what the FDA considered acceptable. So they found out famotidine is better and safer for the human body.

Why is this not fsa/hsa approved when at the pharmacy it is?

Not the old Zantac. People loved the old Zantac cuz it worked. This is the new stuff.Not as good as the old Zantac.

I have to take Zantac. This only works for my reflux. It's a great value for the money. I can order and its here in 2 days. Saves me from going to Walmart

I usually get generic famotidine but this was on special so I gave it a try. It appears to be more effective (in terms of how long the effects last) than the generics. I don't have any scientific data to back that up, but I'll continue to purchase this over the no-name generics due to how well it works for me. Wish it was as cheap as the no-name options, but the results are worth the cost.
