Good reflector for gate operations

It works even if it is raining.
I live in Texas. My fence had hard time to close when it is raining so I bought this , Now it works perfectly.. far better than some Chinese cheap products. 👍

Didn't work on my gate even with a new eye.
I had a 3" reflector for my gate electric eye that was old and scratched and would only work for 10 feet rather than the 16 feet I needed. I assumed a new 4" reflector would fix my problem and so I got this. Still no luck so I ended up buying a new electric eye and tried it with this new 4" reflector. No go with the 4", but when I replaced it with my old beat up 3", it works great. I really don't understand it, but there something about this reflector that just isn't compatible with the electric eye.

Very long range good reflector
Used it for an automatic gate opener, worked perfect! Worked very long range.

Save your money.
Save your money if you think this will replace the original reflector. My photobeam is approximately 30' from the reflector. My only complaint with the old one was that it fogged up when the winter weather warmed quickly causing fog. It has worked for over 10 years. This reflector was larger in diameter so I thought it might do better in the adverse conditions but I was sorely mistaken. It did good to bounce the beam back 4'. Total fail; total waste of money.
