I got this for my husband for Christmas so he can start the truck from the house and let it warm up. It has a delay start, which is necessary for diesel trucks. We have a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD and also got the Xpresskit GMDLBP to incorporate the OEM alarm. Note that not every wire needs to be connected, only the ones that will be used with the system. It seems obvious, but the instructions are lacking in that way. Also, we thought it would be great to set it up to have the driver door unlock with one push of the button and the rest of the doors unlock with a second push, but we found that it actually required several button pushes to get all doors to unlock.
