Good buy
Thos has been a great rope for several years and I have not been gentle to it. I used it for dropping branches I cut out of trees.

Marginally thinner than stated, outer wrap resists abrasion, ends seem well put together.
I needed 1 bare end, so I cut one of the ends off and removed the heatshrink to see how it was put together. I used a hot knife to cut the end off which left a very nice clean sealed end with no splits! At this price, I thought the ends might just be wrapped under the heatshrink, but I was happy to see that it's actually sewn together as stated, so it can be used for anchor line without fear of the end popping open!!! Sold as 1/3 inch rope.... that's 0.333 inch or 8.46mm. Where the fibers have stiffened from heat sealing the cut end, I get a diameter reading of about 0.350 inches or just over 1/3 inch. but anywhere else along the rope, I read about 0.310 inches or almost exactly 8mm, which is a little under 1/3 inch, and if I stretch the rope, the diameter drops to about 0.295 inches +/- 0.005 inch. I also have some similarly wrapped light duty 3/8 inch (0.325 inch 230lb WLL) diameter rope, and while the 3/8" rope 'should' be slightly smaller, it's actually slightly larger than this rope. I used this to safely pull down a 14ft x 12ft x 10ft triangle of galvanized metal roofing that was lifted up and folded over by Hurricane Milton. There are no wear marks on the rope where it rubbed the rough edge of the good roofing. On the cut-off piece shown in the first included photo, I raked one side of the rope against a pair of sharp scissors about 3 dozen times, and just barely started to see some minimal fraying starting as seen on the second photo. This is a much better result than I've seen from some other similar ropes, including the 3/8" rope which had a failure of the outer wrap after 6 times being dragged across the same scissors. Seems strong enough for any application I would put it through, but wish I had a way to test the actual break strength, just to see how accurate the info is!

Good rope for the price.
I've had this rope for about 5 years now. I would highly recommend it. I can't say how much tension I've put on the rope, but I'm sure I've exceeded the maximum and there was no issues. If I had one negative to say about the rope, is that the carabiners that are included with the rope are of low quality, but they do the job and it's not a big deal.

Good value for product quality, a little stiff but still very useful
Rope ends are well manufactured and overall, a good rope for construction work but the rope has a bit more memory or is stiffer than I anticipated. Will work well for my needs but if you are looking for a very supple rope this will likely not be what you are looking for.

Great rope
Rope is thick and high quality and Caribiners are fastened with heat shrink that is rigid. Reflective material in the rope fiber shines bright under flashlight.

Excellent rope for a fair price.
Excellent rope. I used it for tying off ladders to trees for stability and it was perfect. Price is fair and I can't foresee having any issues going forward

Great quality item
Well, talk about over built. This rope assembly is really well made with woven ends that are sealed with a very tight-fitting rubber cover. The ends are wrapped over very heavy duty eyelids. And the carabineers are also made for long-term heavy use. The rope it's self is of a good tight weave and looks and feels like I will never wear it out. The unit is heavier than I expected but comes in a convenient woven carry sack that has a longer than necessary Paracord closer that could be repurposed in an emergency situation. Overall, good value even at this price.

function
I purchased the static rope to pair with a roofer's harness. I am a single women homeowner and noticed the fascia of the 3 dormers on my 1-1/2 story home needed repair. They came un-tucked (?) and not watertight. Plus, some painting needed to happen. I used the chimney as the tie off as it is centered in the house. I measured the distance to the dormer faces and tied off accordingly before suiting up. I felt super safe harnessed and securely tied off with the heavy duty rope with safety latches. I completed all the jobs successfully. Working on a roof is no joke. Accidents happen too fast and having the proper safety equipment is cheap insurance. : )
