Good but still required some skill
This is good if you're decently good at handling hair because you still have to align and make sure both sides are the same length, etc. If you want to learn to cut your hair yourself, this will help but it won't miraculously turn you into a hairdresser if you struggle with basic hair things.

Does the job
Quite decent at this price. Combs well through the hair as it slides, keeps them even and holds them in place as we cut them - that’s most of the job. Rest are bells and whistles made popular by the startup world. I wish there was a third clip, even smaller than the small one, for cutting bangs for thin hair. The quality of plastic too is decent, not very high end, but not cheap either. Closing and opening properly. The layers in my hair came out very nicely.

Amazing layers
So I watched a few videos and then tried this tool. It gives amazing layers but you need a really good pair of scissors. Also, if you have a lot of volume then it does not spread out evenly. So you might find it difficult to cut in certain areas. Overall it does the job.
