Yes...came sealed with tags. it's new packaging so it looks different.

Is this product heat-activated? Will it work if I air-dry my hair?

This is not a heat activated product. You can definitely use it to just air dry or you can use it to blow out your hair for a smoother look. Using the Charitan product will extend the life of the treatment.

Why is this not the authentic product?

I feel it is authentic, have purchased at ULTA, Windsor beauty and on amazon. All the same other than the price. No complaints from this product.
