Dark and trashy as always
Wuhan is my favorite company to get China’s from, the sound is amazing and dark and trashy. It still has not cracked or lost its dark sound, and the thickness is not to thin to provide cracks in the China. Its looks are very cool though, I like the top better than the bottom. And it’s easy to use.

Sounds really good.
In person it doesn't sound good, but once you start playing with music/band. It sounds excellent! I would totally recommend this item for anyone who’s trying get a good item for low money.

Cork sniffin' attitude towards China cymbals? Gimmie a break!
How you want a china cymbal to sound vs how a china cymbal is supposed to sound just might pose a conflict to Western sensibilities. To say a high priced Swiss, Italian or Turkish made China cymbal sounds "better" than the real deal has me scratching my head. A china cymbal made in China using time honored Chinese techniques sounds inferior to the competitor's high dollar factory pounded jewels... Whuwhat? Hey, these trash can lids were designed to keep the bad spirits away! Whether you love or hate the noise made by the real deal, at least be assured in knowing that you are in possession of a genuine C-H-I-N-A cymbal! Now if you want to exercise cork sniffery on Wuhan products, then go for the Wuhan Western style cymbal pack (if you can find one). Wuhan does a pretty good job on providing a low priced great sounding crash, ride, hi hat pack. They don't sound as 'western as their higher priced competitors, but they do have a unique character, and usable voice. The 20 inch medium heavy ride (at least the one I have) sounds close to a Zildjian K series dark ride. The Wuhans look nice, too.

Great Cymbal, Best China Sound!
Great cymbal, is exactly what it should be called China, Gong real sound. The cymbal sounds loud and isn't weak at all, don't belive it will break when you hit it, the people who said that, is because they are using a bad technique to hit cymbals and secure they have broke more than one cymbal. It has the exact sound that a China should have, and in size 16" is perfect for use in quick accents. Excellent quality for the price! The termination is a bit rough compared to other cymbals brands, but doesn't care when you obtain it spectacular sound. good deal, was an excellent choice to buy it.

Hands-down best china for the price
Background: I'm not a professional drummer, I mostly just play for fun and jam with friends, and I mainly play rock, like Muse, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, etc. The 16" china I got sounds very agressive, short, and trashy, just like a china should sound. I've had mine for a few months and haven't developed any cracks in it either, so its holding up alright. This definitely blows the entry-level (ZBT) Zildjian chinas out of the water, and is less expensive as well. One side note: If you want to do any cymbal stacking, this cymbal is terrible for that. I wanted to try inverting a crash and putting it on top of this guy, but the china is really deep and doesn't stack well.

This is THE China-type sound. Period.
OK, I've known about Wuhan China cymbals for YEARS. And it's a well-known fact that it's not a question of IF you will break it, but WHEN. But that sound(!) No other China-type cymbal can match it, especially for the money. I am really enjoying having one of these again after many years and many other China cymbals that never really did get that fast, trashy cutoff sound the way these genuine article cymbals do. My rationale: I have one. It didn't cost me a whole lot. Shortly I will get another one to have in reserve for the time when this one breaks. I try not to bash it too hard, and it helps to know how to swipe cymbals correctly so as to extend the life of the cymbal. If you can be OK with all that, I highly recommend this cymbal. They're great!

AMAZING when they're thin, BAD when they're thick...
Only buy these in person because the thickness varies greatly. My 16" is super thick so I don't even use it, it sounds like shooting a bloody hub cap with 12 gauge buckshot. I had a 20" a few years back and that thing was thin and sounded AMAZINGGGGGGGGG

Amazing sound, great value!
Any drummer/percussionist looking to add an outstanding accent cymbal will be blown away! Years ago I owned one that I loved, but unfortunatley it was stolen from a rehersal room. All of my Sonor drums were in the room, but they took the cymbal!(?) I didn't think they made Wuhans anymore - I'm super psyched! Wuhans have a real gong/trash sound and the 16" - 18" are pitched high enough and decay fast for explosive accents. Like a firecracker when popped with the snare, but sticking lightly like a ride cymbal, they have dark, low overtones that give you a whole new "Asian" pallette. I heard about these from researching Neil Peart's cymbal configuration. I was so impressed with his distinctive china sound and discovered he plays Wuhans. You absolutely cannot beat this cymbal for the $$$!!

This cymbal has a nice trashy and sharp sound. Great for all kinds of music, especially rock, punk, metal. I find the decay of the cymbal to be fairly short which is preferable for me.

Utterly disappointing. Should have popped for a Sabien china... Have a Wohan 11 splash that's quite decent and pairs OK with my my Sabien HHX Comlpex Perfomance Pack. Oh well...
