Shrek Tonie

Let me tell you, my granddaughter is a huge fan of Shrek and the recent addition of a Tonie box to her room has been both a cute and fun thing for her. She has a blast in being able to pick out her own fun songs & stories by character. The Tonies audio toys are of good quality and endure being played with as characters in addition to their intended use for loading audio to the box. Overall, a great amount of fun for her at a reasonable cost for all the character offers.

Okay this was a real hit. At first, when I heard it, I was surprised as the narrator had simple American accent. Shrek did not sound like Shrek, and the Donkey's voice was nothing like Eddie Murphy. That took a little getting used to. Eddie Murphy's chatterbox donkey is really kind of priceless.... But in the end, it did not matter at all, The story told by this Tonie character lasts a long time. Over an hour? Maybe more. And it goes through the entire Shrek story. My 3-year old and 6-year old grandsons ***loved*** it. And they had never seen Shrek! No yet, anyway. It was huge, huge hit. And yes, we eventually sat down and all watched Shrek together. Great purchase. Wish they would add Puss N Boots tonie character.

Awesome Qualiry

Tells the story of the movie Shrek 1 - you get kids may loose interest but I recommend this for Shrek lovers ages 5+

Honestly kinda sucks because there is no music only the story.

No songs and the narrator is quite quiet and dry. First disappointing tonies I've purchased

It's just one long story about the 1st movie. Which is expected but the narrator is not good. They could have done much better with it.
