The new knives I bought have given it a few scratches, but more importantly it doesn’t have any ‘give/friction’ if that makes sense when cutting. It’s actually harder to cut things (veggies, meat) for normal food prep on this, but it’s gorgeous so buy it. I also have a 2 burner glass stove and it still at the same height as the glass portion which is nice. ### ⭐⭐ Black shiny scratch *by A***0 on Reviewed in Canada on 24 April 2022* Received with an inch of scratch. So much for scratch resistant. Tried to contact company but no response. The item is like glass, black and always dirty. Yes it is tempered. Yes it is black. It is not scratch resistant. It is painted on the underside. It arrived and it looked like a couple of bubbles in the glass. On closer inspection, the underside had been scratched and appeared to look like someone had tried to cover it with black paint with a paintbrush.I am still waiting for a refund as of19/07/23 and I ordered it 2 months ago today.
