You don't need this, but you'll feel more comfortable handling your Microbit if you have one.It fits snuggly so there's no rattling around. It stays closed well. It's still easy to use the buttons and connectors on the Microbit.The one downside is that the cardboard battery case holder doesn't work with it, so your battery case will be flopping around loose. But that's an easy fix with some double sided tape.Overall I think it's really good. And if your use case doesn't involve a battery pack then it's perfect.I wish the company had a similar product with a back plate that held a battery pack.

It's well designed to snap in while keeping all the important interfaces clear. I'll definitely buy more.

This does a great job of protecting the Micro:bit! However, the light sensor is built into the LED grid. This protector covers up the LED's making the light sensor not work. They need to either design the cover around the LED grid, or make the area over the grid much more see-through. Other than that, it is worth the money protecting your investment. I've had kids with unually sweaty hands short out several of these over the years. That stopped the moment I got covers for them.

This cover is very easy to install on a micro:bit, and remains secure. Very pleased.

I bought this to protect my kid's microbit, it works perfectly! It fits like a glove and doesn't hinder anything. Great product!
