Great Faucet but tough install (for me)
Sorting out the plumbing in the wall was a huge headache. I had a smooth tube for the faucet that ran down from the water valve and was bent at a 90 degree. It was soldered in the valve. Once I got the old tube out I put a straight tube leading down from the water valve, then an elbow, then a threaded tube for the new tub diverter. I'm not a plumber so this whole process took me hours and multiple trips to home depot. Once it was all done this tub diverter works amazingly. I highly recommend it. But I also recommend you paying a plumber to do it. I'm a mechanic by trade so I can certainly turn a wrench.

Perfect solution for my shower!
Very good quality! The valve is tight and drop free. You have to have a short nipple pipe to attach it to. If you have a long pipe you'll have to ask a plumber about whether a short one can be installed. It's awesome having full water pressure in the shower head again!

The seller and the manufacturer never mention that it isn't ...
The seller and the manufacturer never mention that it isn't adaptable as far as the plumping goes. It only attaches to a 1/2 inch threaded pipe that only sticks out less than a 1/2 inch from the wall but more than 3/8 of an inch.
