Of all the various baby and toddler items purchased over the last two years, this is by far one of the best investments I could have ever made...I have a very active 17 month old son who is into climbing everything! He also wants to see what is going on at all times. He started moving the kitchen chairs to our island about a month ago and began climbing up on them. I knew it was only a matter of time before he took a head-first plunge onto the floor. With the tower, that is no longer an issue. He climbs up and in and back down with ease. He loves it. He "helps" me cook dinner, colors and paints while standing in it, and he eats dinner at the counter too. The eating part wasn't mentioned anywhere on previous reviews and it has been one of the best solutions for a kid that no longer wants to eat in a highchair and made a mess doing it anyway. The food is much closer to his mouth, he doesn't throw things he wants on the floor anymore - he just pushes them out of the way, and he enjoys his independence from not being strapped in. It is incredibly sturdy, but not too heavy to move. Easy to clean. Easy to put together and easy to adjust heights. Love it, love it, love it. WORTH EVER PENNY!

I purchased this for my 17 month old granddaughter, who I babysit everyday, and it is wonderful. It's incredibly sturdy and she has so much fun helping grandma cook and do crafts. The side openings are a bit large and pose a falling hazzard for a smaller toddler but I currently use this under constant supervision and haven't had any issues. She just loves it and all I have to say is "do you want to help in the tower" and she runs right over to it and says "Uppie/help". She helps with things such as stirring, dish washing, and tearing up lettuce for salad. It is a bit pricy but will be worth every penny as it is very sturdy and can be used for many years and many children. And I being very short have even used the side climbing holes to reach the upper cupboard shelves!!. The only issue was in putting it together as the four lower screw holes in the top rails were too large for the screws provided. This resulted in having to go into town to get 4 larger screws in order to assemble it. Even with this corrected flaw I still gave it a 5 since we use it everyday and I found it to be the best investment for allowing little helpers to help with ease.

The perfect helper for those children who enjoy helping their parents in the kitchen, whether it is doing dishes, baking cookies, or just feeling involved and seeing what is going on. Very well constructed with only the finest material (natural wood!) and so easy to assemble. It is solid built to last a very long time and you can easily see the time that was put into it. They even provide an extra allen key and extra screws. What's more, the packaging in unreal in that the pieces are packed ever so carefully and cushioned all around so that they don't shift during transport. What I really like is that the box clearly states and instructs you to examine the package to make sure that everything is OK. This is a company where the owner wants to make sure that your product arrived intact and to reach out to her with any questions or concerns. We believe in providing only the best quality products for our child (no plastics, BPA free, and not made in another far away country) and if that means paying a little extra, so be it. Little Partners is the type of company that we wish there was more of not only because we believe in the products, but more importantly in the people who won it and the unbelievable customer service they provide. Love it - Love it - Love it!!!!!!!

We have owned this Learning Tower for a number of years and would highly recommend it for anyone with little ones that you want to include in some daily activities. One downfall I see with it is the size. It is on the bigger side so it won’t work in a small space. We don’t have a HUGE kitchen but fortunately have room at the end of our counter where it fits nicely. It does create a much more narrow walkway behind it but since it’s fairly easy to move, it’s not a problem to relocate it when we have a larger group of people over. So before purchasing, make sure to consider the size of the tower to make sure it will fit in the space you’d like to use it. Also, think about if it will conveniently fit in that space a majority of the time you own it and if not, do you have another convenient location to store it when not in use. Just remember that it’s BIG. Another issue...I DO think you need to be cautious when using this with younger children. We allowed our first daughter to get in it when she was 18 months old (minimum age requirement) and she accidentally fell out due to the size of the openings for children to climb in and out. At that point, we asked a family member to make a sort of guard rail insert to block that from happening again. What he made is wooden and removable, so we kept it in the tower until our daughter was a little older and then just reinserted it for each child when they needed it for the younger ages. We were fortunate to have someone to do this, where others might not have that option, so it would be nice if it came with something like it when you purchase the tower. I think it needs something to keep children from accidentally falling out BUT it should be removable because once they are older and more aware of the openings, the openings are really nice because then kids can get in and out independently. I really think the company should develop some sort of safety device as I described or increase the minimum age. The company was great to deal with. We contacted them directly because there was a missing part to ours. It WAS disappointing because we wanted it for Christmas morning when we bought it but at least our daughter was too little to realize, so it was OK. The company made up for the mistake by sending the part, which arrived quickly, and they sent a complimentary accessory for the tower (lemonade stand and ice cream stand playhouse kit)! That was totally unexpected but hugely appreciated for the inconvenience of the missing part! In terms of using the tower, there are SO many things you can do with it (again, assuming you have the space). We primarily use it for our girls to work on activities like Playdoh, coloring, puzzles, etc. AND helping with cooking/meal prep. We also purchased the chalkboard and dry erase attachment for the tower. I highly recommend this accessory, as our daughters LOVE playing with that part. It’s just an additional thing they can do with the tower. I’m not sure how it would be to add the chalkboard/dry erase board after you’ve already built the tower. I’m pretty sure you would have to partially take it apart if you decided to purchase it after the fact (something to consider when purchasing). We decided to get the board right away so we only had to deal with assembly once. What I love the most about it is the sturdiness and the size of the standing area. You can fit two little ones in it at a time, which has been great for us. It has different positions for the floor so you can adjust the height for your children based on their needs. I love that it can be used for children up to 6 and it offers a safer option for standing at the counter than simple standing on a chair. We purchased the natural wood finish and am really happy we did. I didn’t want to worry about the possibility of paint chipping or being damaged, making it look worn over time. The natural wood has held up nicely and cleans up beautifully. This is so great to help keep your children engaged in activities in the room with you while you’re busy doing other things or if you want them to work on something with you! Even with the few issues I mentioned, I still rated this 5 stars because I feel as long as customers are informed of those few concerns, the pros outweigh any of the negatives. I would highly recommend this item as long as you have space for it!

We initially hesitated buying this because of the cost and because of the few reviews complaining of the toe stubbing issues. But we decided to do it anyway and we are SO GLAD we did! My 22mo old daughter LOVES her learning tower. She loves to watch my husband and I cook dinner which has totally cut down on the whining factor during this time of the day. We can give her little tasks to do and little tastes of things we are cooking and she loves being part of the action. I have no fear of letting her climb in and out on her own and being safe when she is up at the counter. As for the toe stubbing issue...Both my husband and I did it once before learning to steer clear, my daughter did it once as well before she learned. HOWEVER, the manufacturer says that you can remove the extra feet that stick out and it will still be stable so to those complainers I say take the darn feet off and stop your complaining!!! I looked around at similar products before buying this one; some that fold up etc and I have to say that this one is absolutely THE BEST! It is very sturdy wood, no sharp corners, no hinges to pinch or to accidently fold up etc. It is rather large, but oh so worth every penny. I cannot say enough!!! I can see that we will be getting YEARS of use from this due to the adjustable platform so as she grows so will this. Can't wait for when she is old enough to bake cookies with me...using the Learning Tower of course!

Pros: -So much fun! We've only had it for two days and my 21 month old is constantly climbing into it. She loves being up high and seeing what's going on. So far we've made muffins, used the counter to eat breakfast off of, and bathed her newborn baby brother on the island together. The first day she spent about 3 hours in it! -Your kid isn't under foot when you're trying to get stuff done in the kitchen, especially dangerous things like opening the oven door and unloading breakable/sharp items from the dishwasher. -Because my daughter likes hanging out in it and can see, she's not fussing while I'm trying to work in the kitchen. She used to follow me around with her arms in the air crying "up. up. up." and now she just climbs into the tower. Of course it's great to include your kid in whatever activity you're doing since it is the "learning" tower, but sometimes you just need to get the job done and this allows you to do so. I can accomplish so much now while she's happily playing in it. -Good, sturdy, material -The child won't outgrow it for many years -Looks nice in the kitchen Cons: -Expensive -My daughter can push it around the kitchen and therefore reach surfaces I'd rather her stay away from. We're going to try putting felt or rubber on the bottom and see if that helps. -Takes a little practice learning how to get in and out of. My daughter has gotten out on her own a few times, but usually yells for help. She does great getting in, but one time when we had the platform lower she did a face plant and busted her lip. She bends forward onto the platform and just throws her whole body onto it. I'm sure she'll have it figured out in a couple days though. -Other reviews state that the feet stick out and can be a tripping hazard. According to the manufacturer's website those feet are optional. We left them off and it seems plenty sturdy.

The assembly isn't a snap but it is not too onerous. We have had other towers and they were a disaster waiting to happen - very tippy. Not this one. It's very sturdy and although we do stay next to our toddlers while they use it, we are very sure of it's sturdiness. I cannot imagine how much it would take to tip this over. Most of the "towers" on the market are the very tippy and very dangerous ones. This is the only one we found that has great stabilizers to keep your child safe. It does make it heavier and a bit bigger (and it doesn't fold) but your child's safety is worth these slight inconveniences.

My daughter is a couple days shy of turning 1yr. She is 6 months too young for this, per recommendation, but because she was an early walker, extremely curious, eager to learn and very strong now that she has had months of practice standing, walking and now practically running...I think she is the exception in using this a tad early. HOWEVER, I would recommend NO ONE leave their child unattended this young because they still don't realize if they sit or fall they could fit through the sides and that could lead to an accident. This is likely why 18mths+ is the recommended age. This Learning Tower attracted our attention because we wanted our daughter to begin to see and learn what we were doing in the kitchen, she's very observant and hands on, we wanted to encourage and nurture these qualities since she showed interest standing on her toes to see what was going on in the kitchen. Some of the things we enjoy using this amazing Learning Tower for at this time.... Washing hands, cleaning face after snack and meal times Brushing teeth Making and playing with homemade play dough Playing with pots/pans and large spoons Texture games - wooden cooking tools, metal spoons, plastic spatulas, brushes, sponges, etc. Food Prep - washing, tearing, sorting Preparing Snacks This is likely going to be a fixture in our home for many years to come. The natural wood color was perfect for our home, we wanted something natural and easy to go with the theme of our simple decor. I was torn between the colors, though. Once she is older we will likely enjoy purchasing the add-ons for her imaginary play time (tents for puppet shoes, popcorn stand, etc). We did buy the chalk board/white board but we will hold off until she is a bit older before we attach it, for now she is enjoying the other great things she's able to learn having the ability to be at our level. We live in a NYC apartment so we aren't able to keep this sitting in our kitchen, if we had an island (as most pictures show) we possibly could always leave it out for her to evenutally climb on and have safe foods, snacks and kitchen tools to play with. It's too heavy for a child to move, it can slide easily though...smoothly so it doesn't mess with our wooden floors. I am not strong, by any means, and I put this together. It is simple, following instructions completely, and it took me about half an hour from start to finish once I had all the supplies out and knew what was what. The delivery was fast and everything came in great condition. Easy to wipe down clean, easy to move, although a bit on the heavy side...it means it's safe for my active baby going into toddler years can enjoy without it tipping over. The extra bottom anchors it comes with are a great option to include, for added safety, and we will likely always keep those on. I highly recommend this for any parent, kids are curious about what we do at our level and want to learn how to do for themselves. It's a great, safe, and fun way for them to be part of the process in learning how to be independent. Afterall, we are raising adults. Having my daughter stand on a chair or other type of tower just didn't seem safe to me. The platform is spacious enough they can keep their balance and this is a fabulous model that adjusts to their height. I would buy this again many times, it's a positive fixture in our home for our daughter.

This tower is simply amazing. Super safe. A bit heavy but that is even the reason of its stability. My daughter loves it. And so do I. Received after 2 days, impeccable service.

Très pratique pour un enfant qui veut être au niveau du plan de travail de la cuisine et s’amuser avec sa maman à faire des gâteaux, jus de fruits etc... un seul petit défaut c’est assez imposant

My child was given this Learning Tower at the age of about 2 and has not stopped using it for a year. It's incredibly sturdy, really useful for kids to see what's going on on kitchen surfaces and to get involved - plus just climbing into it is a challenge at first. Age 2 was a little too young to be using it as there are large gaps in the structure for kids to get in and out easily. Obviously, you need to supervise them very closely at all times. I also tied a scarf along the back for an extra barrier out of paranoia at first in case she suddenly fell backwards and I couldn't catch her in time, although I'm sure that's not official health and safety advice! It's been wonderful for doing cooking together, or for her to play with toys or playdough while I prepare dinner next to her. Especially earlier on, it saved her from feeling left out and not being able to see what I was doing. One downside is that it does make the kitchen worksurfaces more reachable for little hands, so they have to be bare at all times. My child could slide the thing on a laminate floor before the age of 3 and so managed to get to some fruit that way in seconds! But I found putting foam pads on the base made it impossible to move without an adult lifting it. The final downside is the feet. The thing is ever so safe and sturdy and presumably the feet play a big part in that, but I lost count of how many times we stubbed our toes on it at first. We were using it in a very small kitchen - and I did worry that it'd take too much space, but for the benefits that it has brought of us being able to share activities - after a year of using it - I would highly recommend it. It's become a daily item of furniture in our home.

Sturdy, stable, very high quality confection. My 18mo is enjoying climbing on it every day to help me prepare dinner, or just see what we're at! Not really made to move around, as it is heavy (but not excessively), however, but that wasn't an issue for us. It's safe enough that we can let our son climb on it without needing to be just by his side when he does so (like we need to do with chairs and stepladders).
