This bulb is stunning on & off. The clear glass design & internal coil is perfect for our industrial-style lounge, but also suits our woven floor lampshade. It was easy to connect to the hue app & Alexa. Great to be able to choose between bright white & warm amber depending on our needs. I have the smaller version of this bulb for a table lamp & wouldn’t hesitate to get more of the same style. Yes it is more pricy than a standard bulb but the modern design & dimmable, colour changing features outweigh the price tag.

Excellent bulb, brought light to my life, and my hallway. A myriad of colour choices available, I went with basic, slightly warm, white. Bit of a waste of money getting the multicoloured one really. Expensive for a light bulb but I’m expecting it, at approximately 6 hours use per day, to last for the rest of my life. Assuming I live for another 45 years, which is my minimum aim (go out with a bang after that before I get to the stage of needing nappies again) then it will have come in at well below a pound a year. Looks good, good controllable light, FIVE STARS!💡

Perfect as always, good quality, beautiful design, easy to set up, fun to use, bright enough for a big room, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Bear in mind that these bulbs are not very strong so if you want more light, you might want to go with a stronger one. We use it in our living room and we don't need too much light, and I also like the dark-ish warm room, it creates a nice ambient but definitely not too bright. Otherwise good bulb, good design and it looks good inside a transparent design lamp shade on the ceiling

Looks really nice and it provides the flexibility I need to adapt the brightness and shade of light in my living room. Well worth the money compared to a non smart bulb.

I prefer Phillips bulbs to the cheaper quality bulbs I’ve purchased before. The colour that comes from the bulb is a lot nicer and it also integrates with Alexa a lot easier and stays connected unlike the other cheaper bulbs that frequently disconnect.

Light is only 550 lumens, but it is not a problem. The spiral is its best feature and made the difference because I wanted it for a particular spot where the spiral would make it look good. However, the app is there to convince you to buy the bulb because you think that the app will do the job. The app is a deliberate obstacle so you are then forced to buy the bridge. The app is full of ads and if you minimise it or close it, the light works as a conventional light. Wizz are much superior except the spiral. At half price or even less.

I've got Hue bulbs everywhere and needed a nice ornamental one for a new dining room lamp so was happy to find this vintage styled filament bulb. It's quite large and looks fantastic in a large light fitting.
