We searched for occupancy-sensing air fresheners and this was the closest we could find that was reasonably priced. (Brand X patented motion-sensing sprayers, then took them off the market! Diabolical!) This sprayer activates immediately when you turn on the lights in a dark bathroom; then it sprays every 30 minutes or whatever you have set. If the room goes dark, it resets immediately. If we keep the window shade down, that means it sprays whenever anybody turns on the light. You can adjust the sensitivity by putting a piece of translucent tape over the photocell. Until that Brand X patent expires and allows the Free Market to work, this is the cheapest method to approach "motion activation." We are definitely saving over 50% on product (which Brand X does not want you to do).

This sprayer has a strong force spray when it come out. the only thing that I have a complaint about is its noisy when it sprays. It is loud, I have it in my dog room and at first, she would growl at the noise, but I guess that she is used to it now. It's heavy duty and has adjustable timer, 5,15,30 I have timer set to 15 minutes. This sprayer can also be mounted on the wall. I will purchase another one for the bathroom.

It's made in china but the box i got is in Spanish the instructions only tell you the first timer switch not the second and even then it sprays a lot faster then every 30 mins it's going to burn through my spray cans.

I buy the air freshener at Dollar tree and now my house only smells like sadness and loneliness instead of cat poo and whiskey!
