The plastic stopper didn't stick properly to my ornament, it fell off inside the globe, the glue had not adhered to the plug despite roughing it up as suggested. Next problem, the stopper was very reluctant to go into the globe because as I pushed it in, the air pressure inside the globe kept pushing it back out again; this happened repeatedly until my ornament fell off inside the globe, leaving me a horrible mess to clean up. Regret buying this especially with it being very expensive too. I should have bought one of those photo snow globes, it would have done a reasonable job without all the faff and mess and a lot cheaper. I used it with water, glitter and glycerin to make a crystal ball prop. **Q: Can this item, once filled with water and made into a snowglobe, travel by air? I am worried that the air pressure might cause it to leake** A: I sent one already filled with water to my grandson in another state and did not say that it leaked. **Q: can you add a light in between the two seals?** A: I don’t think so. **Q: I bought this and the included snow floats. How do I make it fall? We added 3tsp glycerin to the distilled water to nearly fill the globe.** A: You have to shake it a bit. The only thing is it did leak just a tad but I hot glued the seal afterward before screwing the final top on and that did the trick! I would definitely get more and just do this extra step for peace of mind. Some diy videos I found did and didn’t glue the seal, which is why I tried our snow globe without glue but was cautious to check for leaking afterward.
