BIGGIE Glide Thru Detangling Brush Black

Saw this in one of those "best finds on Amazon" type articles. Read the article blurbs and decided to check it out for curiosity's sake. I have baby fine curly hair and, even in my 40's, a VERY sensitive head. I brush my hair with the same wide toothed brush that was recommended to me over 2 decades ago, holding tight to my hair above the area I was brushing to prevent painful tugging. And I think everyone I have met with curls laments how you can brush, and brush and brush, and just when you think you got all the tangles you suddenly find me ones. And brush dry hair? Well, for me it pulls the curl almost completely out and leaves my hair poofy. I have kept going this way, just buying a new brush once in a while, never trying anything different. Maybe it was time to trust the reviews and give a new brush a try. OMG, the reviews are right. I would happily spend more money to get the smooth, gentle results I get with this brush. No tugging, no pain. Much less lost hair. When wet the curls clump together and dry in tighter curls than my other brush would get. When dry, I don't have the frizzies to battle with. For an autistic with sensory issues this brush is absolutely amazing, and I immediately showed it to my kid, also autistic, also curly haired, who also loved it, so I bought a second. Amazing! Love it!

I really like this Crave Naturals Glide Thru Detangling Brush.It glides through my medium hair gently without pulling or scratching my scalp. The bristles are flexible and feel soft, making it comfortable to use on both wet and dry hair. One of my favorite things about this brush is how well it smooth my hair when I’m putting it into a ponytail or messy bun. The handle is easy to hold., and the brush feels comfortable in my hand while styling. My hair is medium and thickness, so it works very well for me. I’m not sure how it would perform on very thick hair, but for my type, it does an excellent job. I would definitely recommend this brush.

This brush works great for my fine hair. I use it primarily to remove knots and detangle after shower. The short bristles are efficient and this design is light weight, easy to hold, and easy to clean compared to other brush types. I wasn’t sure I’d like it but so glad I tried it out. You should too - especially if you have tried other types of detangling brushes and are ready to find one that doesn’t brake apart or cause pain. I do use it with a detangling spray but the shorter bristles make the comb out less traumatic, pain free, and efficient. The price point enables you to have one brush for home and another for the gym bag. I bought my second brush a week after testing this one. Don’t hesitate. Buy it and try it out to see if it works for you.

UPDATED REVIEW: After writing my review I decided to forward it to the customer service department at Crave Naturals and found their email on their website. I received an immediate response from the founder of the company, Kristen who explained the source of the issue and offered to send me a replacement brush and a refund. She did explain to me that issue was as follows: “When a customer decides to return a brush to Amazon, they ship it back to an Amazon warehouse. At that time an Amazon employee takes the product out of the return box and makes a decision as to whether or not it is to be discarded or put back into Amazon inventory. I have told Amazon in the past that all of our returns should be discarded because they are sanitary in nature and should not be used by more than one person. Unfortunately, it appears that they are not following our requests.” I received my package from Kristen today and she sent me TWO new brushes and they were 100% brand new and wonderful. She exceeded my expectations and completely changed my perspective of her company and staff. I’m honestly happier now than I would have been if I got sent a brand new brush delivered from Amazon from the start. The brush works wonders when it comes to detangling hair. It’s very gentle and I noticed a lot less hair came out compared to using my regular brush or wide tooth comb. I haven’t gotten to use it on a knot yet but I feel very confident that I won’t be using the scissors on my knots anymore because this will work perfectly to get my knots and tangles out. I would now 100% recommended going with this company if considering buying one of these detangling brushes because no matter what Kristen, the founder of the company has a mission to make all of her customers completely satisfied. Thank you Kristen!!! PREVIOUS REVIEW: Was so excited to try out this new brush. After seeing it multiple times on TV I knew I needed to order one for myself. Being born with fine hair and choosing to bleach it every couple of months has led to multiple hair issues such as damage, breakage, slow growth, and tangling and knotting very easily. I’ve suffered with hair loss, bald spots and knots so bad that after hours of trying to get them untangled, I give up and just end up cutting out the chunk of my hair... So I am always doing research to learn the best, new techniques and remedies in order to have healthy and happy hair and this brush seemed like the perfect fix to my tangling issues. I choose this brand because it was listed as “Amazon’s Choice” and had a high rating with plenty of reviews so I figured it was a safe bet to go with this brand. I had ordered it with eight other things to get faster shipping and it arrived the next day with my other items in a fairly large box. When opening my Amazon package and grabbing the box with the brush inside, I immediately noticed the brush box was damaged and it looked like it had been squished or dropped. Since it came in a big Amazon box I knew that it didn’t happen during shipping so I figured it happened at the factory before being boxed up but it was just the box so I didn’t think much of it. When opening the brush box I immediately saw a dark hair on the brush underneath the plastic... Having blonde hair myself I knew there was no possible way it could have been mine so it was obvious to me that the brush had been purchased by someone else, returned and then shipped off to me which is why the box appeared to be tampered with. I’m pretty disgusted at the fact they would send me a used brush that had been returned. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t inspect the returned brush to make sure it hadn’t been used before sending it to someone else advertising it as a “new” product. The fact that they didn’t even take the time to inspect it or sanitize it during the time of a pandemic just goes to show poor management in my eyes. I’m very disappointed with this purchase and would recommend going with a different company/brand if choosing to buy this detangling brush. There are a lot of other ones that I’m sure wouldn’t be sending out used, returned brushes.

Ive never dropped a brush so often while trying to brush shoulder length hair in my life!!!! Where is the handle??? Works well, but badly designed tiny handle.

This brush is fantastic! Works perfectly on my fine hair exactly as they said it would. Detangles my hair and makes it smooth. I have never had a brush this easy to use. I purchased one for my granddaughter also.

Such an amazing brush! I have so much hair and I twisted up all the time and I’m healing from heart surgery so it’s not like I can get into the shower and wash it it’s so long and takes so much work and so thick and wavy it’s so hard to explain it takes like a clips for me to even clip it up so I had a huge Matt I thought for sure I was gonna have to have my haircut I googled I found this brush and I was able to brush out that huge tangel/Matt it was the size of my fist. I didn’t realize it was there until I took the clips out and there was no way I was gonna attempt doing anything so I ordered this brush patiently waited it took a while because I have so so much hair and very long and very very thick and I’m still healing from heart surgery plus I have a very bad neck it took me time but I felt zero pain and it worked I suggest everybody use this brush it’s a miracle brush I’m going to order another one so I always have one I never want to lose this thank you so very much for the product that you make!

I think my search ends with this one. I have very hick hair. It covers it brilliantly. I honestly love how easy it is to clean. I use this while I shampoo and condition. The massage it gives is amazing. Spreads my conditioner easily. I clean it every single time I shower and it’s SO easy unlike other brushes where we struggle to get out all the hair. This doesn’t even hold dust. Breakage has reduced considerably. It’s actually zero now and better yet, I have no frizzy hair anymore. Love how compact it is too. Easily fits in my bag (not for sling bags) and the shape is really awesome to hold too. Pictures attached. It’s totally worth the price. Bristles are neither too hard nor too soft.

Where has this brush been all my life? It's been an absolute game changer. I did lots of research for a detangler brush and eventually decided on this one. I have not been disappointed. Brushing my hair had become an incredibly painful experience due to fibromyalgia so it was important to me to find the right brush. I'm so glad I found this brush. It's made a huge difference to my pain levels. It glides through my hair with ease like no other brush ever has done before. It's easy and light to hold. It's sturdy, but not too solid, but not too soft either, it's just right. It is the perfect brush. I have very fine, thin hair that gets knotty very easily. I highly recommend this brush!
