I absolutely love the banana smell. It smells like a smoothie you can drink and the conditioner is perfect. It’s not heavy or greasy. It’s light but removes my frizz

For context, I have 2B waves, high-porosity hair with mixed strand thickness (including some gray), medium density, and a sensitive scalp that tends oily. My lengths can swing between dry and over-moisturized, and I wash every other day. Shampoo: This shampoo is very cleansing. I typically need to double cleanse or pre-poo, but this gets my scalp fully clean in one wash. Despite being sulfate-free, it doesn’t irritate my sensitive, itch-prone scalp (which is rare for me). It encourages slight natural movement on its own and has become my go-to shampoo even when waves aren’t my goal. One bottle lasted about two months. Pros: • Cleansing but not harsh • Non-irritating • Good ingredient profile Cons: • May be drying for daily use without a richer conditioner or leave-in Conditioner: This is a very lightweight conditioner. It was too light for my high-porosity hair and didn’t have the slip I prefer for finger detangling. That said, it encouraged the most wave formation for me. To keep those waves defined and frizz-free, I needed to follow up with styling products. After a couple of bottles, I switched to a higher-moisture Pacifica conditioner. Each bottle lasted about 4–6 weeks. Pros: • Encourages movement • Good ingredients • Suitable for easily weighed-down hair Cons: • Too lightweight for high-porosity hair • Not enough slip The Set: Together, this set encourages movement but won’t create perfect waves on its own. Results may improve when paired with styling products from the same line. The banana scent is mild and doesn’t linger after rinsing. Overall, I love the shampoo, but while the conditioner is nice, it wasn’t the right fit for my hair type.

I was really hoping for a shampoo that would give me that beach look but at this point I think there is no replacement for salt water. It does give me more volume and it smells amazing!! Just don't expect it to give you those nice beachy waves.

I change my hair color frequently, which involves routine bleaching and lots of damage. Most of the time I have to mix multiple deep conditioners and then finish with frizz controlling serums in order for my hair to not look like a bale of hay. This is the only product where I use it and just GO and my hair looks smooth and silky. Bonus for the natural ingredients and lack of harsh chemicals! I love this brand and have switched to many of their products, including the facial line!

Originally I was using Native products unfortunately there is a class action against them. I looked up brands and found Pacifica on the recommendation list. Gave this a really good try if anything saw more hair loss. I have oily hair and this sucked everything ounce of moisture out of it. I even use a natural hair oil afterwards and nope the Pacifica brand is garbage. My friend who has super dry hair tried it along with me and super frizz to hers and breakage. Also tried Acure same effect, and the rice water shampoo bar that made our hair feel disgusting. I had a hair mask from raw sugar, and found they make shampoo as well. So made the switch and man I can feel the difference. Now onto healing my hair! Be careful out there ladies. It's getting ridiculous to find a good brand. Giving raw sugar a good try, but if it fails we've voted on Ginger lily farms next.

Smells very good. The shampoo is a nice texture, not oily or gross cheap feeling. The conditioner is very light. Pair it with the spray and your hair is very beach wavy for sure.

Got complimented twice on my hair from my BF before I told him I tired a new hair product, which was this Pacifica Salty Waves line. My hair is straight & somewhat thick. I have layers in my hair and these products work well with my cut. Adding body, movement & definition in the ends. I like the way my hair lays. It looks bed head like, yet still has umph. I don't mind the smell of banana. I don't think this is heavily scented but the next person might disagree. This is now on subscription order. A new favorite.

Cuatro estrellas porque no me gustó nada el olor de banana, pero eso no se queda en el pelo cuando se seca, no huele feo . Yo no tengo el pelo, realmente ondulado, lo tengo como entre chino y ondulado, pero como siempre después de bañarme, se me hacen rulos, o sea de pelo chino, quería probar como se me ve realmente ondulado y la verdad desde que me puse el acondicionador, se se me hicieron ondas, instantáneas, lo cual me dio muy buena impresión. Por otro lado no siento que me lo haya dejado realmente hidratado, pero, cumple con la con las olas que dice así que se me hizo muy buen producto. Apenas me lo puse una vez, lo acabo de estrenar. Amo pacífica es mi marca favorita por muchísimo y me encantó la presentación. No lo recomiendo para pelo deshidratado, pero quien tenga un pelo saludable, se lo recomiendo mucho Super buen precio para ser natural ame.
