This arrived today for use in our annexe where we have an open plan lounge/kitchen diner. The sofa bed provides additional sleeping should our guests need it. I purchased this as it was an extremely good price and had excellent reviews. I am pleased with it, however the back of the sofa is unupholstered - it’s just covered in black fabric and you can see where it’s stapled. This is the first time that I’ve come across this ( though to be fair I’ve never paid such a low price for a sofa before). I suppose this is ok if you are putting the sofa against a wall, but in our case the sofa is in the middle of the room, dividing the two halves and so is a bit unsightly and I’m going to have to buy a large throw to hide the back. I just wanted to make other buyers aware of this as I probably wouldn’t have purchased it if I’d known. Having said that, if you just want an inexpensive, sturdy sofa bed, with storage, then this will do the job and looks pretty smart. I’d also like to say that the whole purchase was made very easy. This sofa was delivered in 24 hours, I had a call/text from the company with an hours time slot and the delivery drivers were very friendly, professional and even helped us move out our old sofa.

We were very pleased with the quality of this sofa. It perfectly fits our guest bedroom, and when it is unfolded there is sufficient space to work around it. It is not a soft sofa to sleep on, but we personally prefer this way. For guests we have extra padded mattress to go on top should they prefer a softer version. There is enough storage to put all the bedding inside and also a padded mattress. Good value for money. We also liked the delivery service. Two polite Polish guys called the same name Jacek, if I remember correctly, who delivered the sofa. It was a timely delivery during the advised 20-minutes' window, and it took them less than 7 minites to carry it upstairs and assemble it, managing to fit within the same 20-minutes window. Great experience overall!

Had this for just over a month and happy with the purchase. Really solid design when in either sofa or bed set up. Easy to switch between modes, my 6yr old can do it with ease and has done many, many times. Looks great and comes with plenty easily accessible storage. The switch between sofa & bed is also space efficient - move it a few inches out from the wall, fold down and it's done with plenty space left in the room. Folding up or down takes seconds. Company were a pleasure to deal with, shipping was free to Glasgow and the guys delivering unpacked it, put in place & gave me demo. There is a groove/cavity running right down the middle when in use as a sofa bed which is not ideal, unless two people wanted clearly defined sleeping quarters, also hinges about a foot in at each end of the groove which may result in a rather sore knee during activities other than sleeping. Extra padding at either end also means the head/foot areas are slightly raised. Ongoing I will probably look for something to fill in the groove when using as a bed....but it does the job as is. Overall delighted with the product, beats sofa beds at two and three times the price for quality, looks, design, ease of use and space efficiency...for some minor compromises in bed mode.

This is an awesome and sturdy sofa bed. The service for delivery was super fast as it comes in one piece. Took them 10 mins in and out the front door...not even that. It's super comfortable as a sofa (firm but not hard). It's so easy to flatten to a bed. There's a tonne of storage for quilts, pillows etc underneath (or anything you want to store) and again very easy to get to. I took a while to reply as I wanted to test it out with a few guests. Really firm and comfortable. The only feedback is that there is a gap when it folds flat which is a wedge of 7cm deep by 10cm wide and the length of the sofa. This does make it uncomfortable. UPDATE: I bought a mattress topper which fluffs up a number of cms. That sorts the gap issue. All of my guests have commented that this is super comfortable as a bed. I would say it's for 1 person, it's a real squeeze for 2 people (wider than a single but probably the width of a small double or just less)

Firstly I am delighted with my purchase. Having read some of the review I was somewhat apprehensive about ordering. Should not have had any reservations. It is very firm, but not uncomfortable. It looks far more expensive than it is. The bed mechanism is very simple to operate and there is easily enough storage for pillow, duvet and under blanket. The delivery team were very professional, polite and friendly. They looked at where the sofa was going to be placed, worked out the best way of bringing it in and explained the steps before they got it off the van. Secondly, you can buy with confidence. Excellent communication and service and we are delighted with the sofa. If you want a soft sink into sofa, then don’t buy this one. If you want a functional sofa bed which looks good and gives you firm support, this is for you.

I have had this sofa for nearly a year now. I wish I had saved up for something nicer. This is our main sofa. We watch TV, eat meals, read, nap, and play with our dog on this sofa. The first few months were brilliant! It was comfy and easy to change into a bed to sleep on. However, over time, the sofa has become firmer and more uncomfortable. When used as a bed, it has also lost comfort over time. The fire tag is an odd place. I'd love to donate this sofa in a year or two and replace it, but no charity will take it now that the fire tag has fallen off. A few months ago, the click clack mechanism stopped working properly. It now takes 8 - 12 attempts to convert the bed back to a sofa. I contacted the manufacturer with my concerns. It took several weeks for them to respond. When they did, they claimed that I was just moving the sofa too fast or too slow. That was absolutely rubbish because I had been sleeping on it for weeks when our new puppy arrived. I was converting it from a sofa to a bed on daily basis. I wasn't suddenly going too fast or too slow. The mechanism just stopped latching correctly. Recap: It's not comfy, but it is cheap and has great storage space. I recommend this sofa if you absolutely cannot afford something better OR if you will only be using it occasionally. Sept 2022 update: Have had this sofa for less than 3 years and I can't stand it. Terribly uncomfortable as both a sofa and a bed. Still takes several attempts to convert from bed to sofa as the mechanism seems faulty. Lowering from 3 stars to 1 star as no one likes using this awkward sofa! Complete waste of money and Honeypot customer service was extremely unhelpful. October 2022: Gave away this sofa and got something nicer. Tip….keep the fire tag even if it falls off (like ours did.) After I got rid of it my husband finally confessed that he disliked this sofa from day one. Final recap: It’s an expensive mistake. A much better option is to buy a sofa from a charity shop (and get it professionally cleaned if you can.)

I have had this sofa for about a year and it’s still in excellent condition and no signs of wear.It’s still firm I rather prefer a firm seat and imo it’s comfortable to sit and lay on.I have one niggle and it’s the cushions that come with it they’re small maybe in the future the manufacturer will make them larger.The mechanism is still smooth to operate all in all I find this sofa well built the back is also upholstered which is essential if you use the sofa to divide a room.to end the price I paid was a bargain and I would recommend this sofa bed .

First off, I got a 15% discount but even at full price this is an excellent sofa bed. The delivery guys were fantastic considering they had to get the sofa upstairs and as far away from the front door as it could get. They were polite, quick and efficient and gave me a demonstration. I ordered the sofa on a Thursday and it arrived the following Monday. The sofa is very hard when new but this actually gives me confidence that it is well made and I am sure it will soften up over time and use. There is ample storage and it is very easy to convert into a bed. I would highly recommend!
