Would you have to reload every time?** A: I put peanut butter on top the narrow end of the flipper towards the center, I also put some on the underside of the flipper directly under the narrow end. I then added some more peanut butter under the wide end of the flipper opposite the narrow end to balance the flipper so that it stays level. I've had this set up in use for well over a month and the same peanut butter has not fallen off and the peanut butter on the top of the pointy end is also still in place because when the mice get close to it they fall in before they can eat it. I just dumped out the mice every few days until there were no more to catch. Caught 10 mice the first day and has slowed down to none after a month. Probably caught 30 mice in 1 month and never had to replace the peanut butter. I also use 2 cups of a 50/50 mix of Corn Meal muffin mix and baking powder with a tablespoon of sugar in the bottom of the bucket. When the rodents eat the mix they can't burp or expel gas in any way so they just swell up and go to sleep, never to wake up again. The one recommended by Amazon is a UK metric bucket, the US uses Imperial sizingYou will see the 25-litre recommended bucket.Again, this is metric, not Imperial sizing. For those who do not know, what you need is a "5 US Gallon" bucket. It does tell you this in the description.Despite the reviews, Amazon does sell the 5-gallon US buckets.However, they are not the cheapest. I went with a brand called "Meguiar's". I believe it was around £22. I went with matching yellow. I wish I had gone with the black bucket, as the yellow-on-yellow bucket catches people's attention.The dome is where you put the peanut butter (I mixed peanut butter with chocolate spread), and the tiniest smear dab goes up some of the runs on the plastic ladder. I dabbed 4 of the runs, 2 dabs on the lid, nothing on the flipper...
