Is it ok to wash on delicate cycle in a mesh bag if the soak time is more than 3 minutes?

Yes. Soak time should be under 3minutes. Machine wash only soft mode with mesh protective bags.

Last paragraph says, "we believe you will love the SATIN pillowcases much as we do". Is this product SILK or SATIN??

It is silk and it is natural mulberry silk 100 per cent!! I know it is silk and hand wash them!! No dryer!! I probably said Satin, because it feels softer!! This is the real deal and very silky on your skin And hair!! IT IS SILK and I bought another!! Now, we love the silk and will only use SILk!!

How do you wash the silk pillow case?

Silk and wool are both proteins, so use a detergent that is safe for wool. (Regular detergent has enzymes that will break down the silk along with breaking down stains.) Hand wash in a bucket by lightly swishing. Press between towels to dry, then hang dry, so you don't pull the silk. It sounds complicated, but the material is so thin that this took about 5 minutes and was no big deal.
