03 acura cl type s.purchased 4 for my rear tail/brake lights. brake lamp error code. i thought these had built in resistors. solution before i return?

Solution if you dont want to return. Go to autoparts store or Walmart and buy in-line resistors. Install them on + wire. This should fix the issue.
