I've been using this coffee daily for over a year now, and it's perfect. I've seen many complaints about the coffee being weak, and I think I know what the problem is. I use a 2-in-1 coffee machine that makes both a traditional pot of coffee, and includes a separate senseo pod brewer. Since you are essentially using a dry tea bag to make coffee, you really won't get a strong cup of coffee unless your brewer has some sort of "Strong" or "Bold" coffee setting. This settings slows down the drip brewing process a lot, which allows the water to slowly absorb into the pod, which then allows a strong cup of coffee to be brewed. You'll notice that when it first starts brewing, you're essentially just getting water. But after a few drip cycles it becomes really strong. I personally use two pods for a large cup of coffee, and a single pod for a half cup (which is typically weaker, but still fine). If you're having trouble with the pods and you don't have a "Strong" or "Bold" setting, you may want to try running them under the faucet for a few seconds before putting them into the brewer so the water can absorb more easily. If you want to brew a generous, strong cup of coffee, use two pods. In the end, the main reason to buy these is for the convenience and the fact that they're environmentally friendly. It's just coffee beans in a paper filter. The amount of plastic waste created by K-cups is ridiculous (and the coffee isn't all that great or strong). These can be perfect if you just play around with the brewing method.

I have had a Senseo coffee maker for several years now. They are hard to get these days. However the Senseo coffee pods with the Senseo coffee maker brews a fantastic cup of coffee. This is the classic coffee pods which are my daily first cup. There are also flavored such as French Vanilla which is my go to second cup. Excellent coffee

I love Senseo coffee.. It's always the perfect flavorful roast and very easy to use for a wonderful cup of coffee.

I was reading a buyer complaining about the expiring shelf life date Primo : Senseo buy the utmost superior coffee not the left over like so many others buyers do throughout the world.(($$$$$)) Secundo: According to my humble expertise in coffee,beans or ground coffees do not go bad over a set date, you may keep the goods for even a few years in their original packaging. I have a few pods brought back from Europe 5 years ago and...they.. still going strong..... Thanks Senseo MP

Waiting longer for shipping was worthwhile. The pods are sealed better and more importantly the coffee tastes better. And, as I recall the price was good even with oversea shipping. Only one critique - foil package was difficult to open without tearing it. This is important since I want to keep it air tight with so many pods

I like this coffee and have bought it repeatedly. This time when it arrived there was no exterior packaging, just 2 bags taped together. One of the bags was torn, and you could smell coffee. I appreciate the urge to reduce packaging, but it still needs to be packed safely.

I've used Senseo coffee for years and it works great for us. We don't like older or stale coffee but with this system, each of us make our own freshly brewed cup as we want it. No pot sitting on the warmer for hours, no stale coffee...it's all fresh and convenient. I wish I could still buy the pods at the grocery store but it's no longer available; so this is the best method for our family.
