This product has been absolutely fantastic to use on my boat. The teak has never looked better and after months of direct sunlight appears to still look like I just apply it to the boat.

I am beyond happy with this stuff!! I just bought a condo (built in the late 70's) and am slowly remodeling room by room. One of the bathrooms had an awful beige laminate countertop. Rather than spend a bunch of money ripping the vanity out and replacing, I decided to refinish and paint everything. This is 3 coats of black acrylic, with sparkles tossed over the 3rd coat, then EIGHT LAYERS of what CLAIMED to be high gloss polycrilic finish over. I followed the instructions, sanding with 300 grit between coats, but NO MATTER WHAT I did, it was NOT a gloss finish, and when water dropped on it, it left a discoloration for a few hours til it dried (even 2 weeks after the final coat). Decided to give this stuff a whirl. I sanded the poly with 300 again.... this pic is only ONE COAT of this stuff, 48 hours after application. As you can see, it's mirror gloss finish. I'm gonna let it cure for about a week before heavy "bathroom counter" use, but so far, it is GORGEOUS and exactly what I was wanting!!!!

Used this to seal countertops turned beautifully.

Haven’t used the varnish yet. It’s only a pint sized can! I will be lucky to get one coat out of this minuscule can. You would think you were getting a gallon based on the 8x scale of the varnish can photo compared to the adjacent photo of the 1 quart can of primer. What a scam! WELL, I have never used a product like this before and it very much exceeded my initial expectations. The Wood Sealer took care of the first three coats. The pint size can of marine spar varnish applied after that went quite along way thanks to the wood sealer. I was able to get a full 3 coats out of the pint size can. I went back and looked at the photograph and it indeed said one pint. I can recommend the sealer and varnish products as a very good marine finishing system.

I love this varnish as I can lay down multiple coats in a day with no sanding - a HUGE savings of time and effort. That said, maybe because it sets up fast, it also goes bad in the can faster than others too. I only buy pints now for that reason and figure to use it up or toss it in one season. Still, the advantages make it worth it if you need to do multiple coats. If you are doing a single finish coat annually, this may not be the one.
