Works great, easy to put together and fits neatly in my closet. The shelves are sturdy and wide enough to fit plenty of things on them to save space in your room. It also comes with the ability to stack them if you buy multiple shelves or if you choose just one, it has the special safety piece to use to hook onto the top of the shelf and drill into the wall to keep it from being pulled over if you have children or even pets that you are concerned may pull it on top of themselves. If that is not a concern you have, then the safety bolt isn't needed since it stands nicely on its own and doesn't wobble to shift at all.

The shelves were pretty easy to assemble, and I am handicapped. There are 2 styles, this one, with no back on it, and one that does have a back to it. I have purchased 3 with the back, and one without the back. I like this one with no back to it, as I use it to set my cable box, and other electronics on it. It's easy to run the cords down the back of it, out of sight. I love the way you can build on to these, with various different options and looks. Nice piece of furniture. I use white ones, with the back on them, as nightstands in my bedroom. They are VERY functional!

I was a bit worried by some of the comments about how unsteady and difficult this unit was but was pleased to discover that those negative reviews were exaggerated. I had no problems lining up the screws (hint however is to rub the screws on a bar of soap before screwing them in - makes it lots easer) and i think it's quite sturdy for my use (ballcaps, sweaters, workout clothes etc). I liked the first one so much i bought a second one right after i finished putting the first unit together. As might be expected this unit is held together by 6 screws per side and is made of particle board, so if you have need of a shelf that can support heavy weight you might want to consider spending more. But these shelve are exactly what i needed for extra storage in my walk-in closet and I think they are a really good value.

Advertised as “Used-Like New” I bought 4 used cases from the same seller. I saved a bit of money on my total order because I bought them used. 2 cases were great, no problem. The other two cases were in boxes that were clearly previous returns since the previous label was visibly removed and both of these cases had problems. In one box, two shelves had broken corners and missing the pack of parts (easily remedied by visiting a hardware store). The second box had one shelf with a broken corner. Fortunately, the broken corners are all in the back and are not big enough to impact where the screw fit. I did not return the damaged cases. I took a risk purchasing used and saved a good bit of money, but am disappointed that they were in poor condition, being falsely advertised. Fortunately, the cases are inside a closet where the broken corners cannot be seen and they work as intended. I don’t believe the seller intentionally sold me damaged cases, but I don’t feel confident the seller checked to ensure the previous purchaser didn’t damage the returned product before reselling them as “like new”. If two of the cases from my total ordered weren’t damaged, I would have given 5 stars because they are meeting expectations. They were easy to put together and provide great storage. I’m only taking one star off because half of my order came through as advertised. The damage on the other half of my order wasn’t so bad that I can’t use them, but they are damaged…there is nothing “like new” about them.

Easy enough to assemble as I've put a few together before. Only thing I was confused about is the instructions were not for the shelves I bought. . You'll see the discrepancy in my photos. The screws didnt seem to be made for these shelves but at the end I has enough to get it assembled Also had some minor damages.

I got the white cubeical. This is a great product if you’re looking to add storage and create organization in your closet! It allows me to separate things and it adds another shelf. First I made sure to measure my shelf so I knew it would fit. It was super easy and quick to put together, less than 30 minutes and all you need is a screwdriver. I put all the items that I don’t use that often up at the top since it’s kind of high to reach. I wish I had taken a before pic of my purses too but I forgot. I will definitely be getting another one!

Just because it says closetmaid... its not the quality you get from Menards or the larger hardware stores. First of all, I ordered several to replace the ones damaged in the hurricane. The box was packaged in a larger box with two others. There was no packing material to keep them from bouncing around inside that box. One was damaged... because of the lack of quality the minor damage to the box damaged a side and a shelf. I had to get my room back in order or I would have sent it back. While it was extremely easy to put together... it just is not the quality i was execting. Also, had I noticed the shelves were not adjustable I would not have bought these.

Bought two of these shelves to reorganize my coat closet. Sturdy enough to add a short pole for hanging jackets. I used extra brackets to secure them to the wall. Very happy with the end result.

Shelves went together easily, stacked nicely , and fit as we wanted in our closet. They came carefully packaged for delivery, and in good condition.

I bought this product in early February and I'm pretty impressed! Before, I used it as a shelf to store some of my perfumes/school books. Now, I've placed this in my closet (horizontally) on my top shelf and it helps with neatly stacking my clothes and other miscellaneous items. I highly recommend this product. It is a bit overpriced right now (I was able to buy it at around $24) though, I probably wouldn't spend more than that on it.
