Our dog is a young, strong chewer and demolishes other “long-lasting” treats very quickly. This one is exactly the right combination of long-lasting and satisfying for him to stay interested and keep him busy. A pleasant surprise for my super chewer! Usually collagen sticks are chewed thru quickly but these sticks challenged my Bo for nearly a whole day! I consider them an excellent buy!

We have a great white Great Dane puppy.. 4months old.. 60lbs.. Likes to chew.. Has devoured more collagen sticks than i can count.. Some only lasted an hour.. These rods have about survived since yesterday.. Hardly any missing so far.. She loves them.. And these have nutrition iin them.. Thank you for such a great product.. Shes really enjoying these.. When these are gone Ill buy more.. Again.. Such a Great product!!!

My 63 pound working Line German shepherd loves them! They are a good raw hide alternative and great for dogs who chew a lot, they are also good for her joints and hips. I got them on deal as well for cheaper, but looking at the original price it does seem a little expensive.

I am so disappointed in the quality of these chews. I was a loyal customer for years. I started with the Bully Sticks, but when the cost became too much for me, I switched to the collagen chews. My dog loves them and I was a consistent buyer. I was even a subscriber to the product. These used to be a good value, long lasting and safe for him to chew on (with a stick holder). He would chew on them until they became soft, it took about three days of one-hour chew sessions to get to the end. However, over the past year the chews have become too dangerous for me to give to my dog. Previously the chews were tightly wound and would soften up making it a great way to massage the teeth and gums. The past three packages I bought were loosely wound and were so brittle that they would shatter into shards, big and small to break off, causing choking and bleeding. At first, I thought I got a bad batch but after several more attempts with the same awful results and needing to throw it all out, I canceled all subscribe and save subscriptions. I have not been able to find a good alternative that my dog will chew on. So very disappointed.

Ok, my parents initially bought these for my dog several months ago and ever since then there has been no going back for our dog. She absolutely loves these things and they can keep her occupied for hours! However… we have started calling this her “Gross Thing” such as “I’m going to get Aggie a Gross Thing now” or “do you know where Aggie left her Gross Thing?”. That might sound bad, but we all have our own Gross Things and hers just happens to be this chew that is a little stinky and pretty messy (the Gross Thing turns into a white goop that will crust up on the couch, her paws, basically anything it touches in its goop form). You might be thinking 🤔 “ok so Gross Thing is gross… but you already knew that reviewer because you call it Gross Thing… why only three stars???” And I’ll tell you. One star comes off because these things are PRICEY 😵‍💫🤑 especially for only getting five when my 15lb pug can absorb one in a single day. Yes I will pay because my baby girl deserves the world but it doesn’t mean I’m happy about it! Finally, the other star is taken off and the reason I’m writing this review today is because I received… the narstiest smelling pack of these things a few weeks ago. Oh my GOSH this pack smells awful… not your typical Gross Thing odor but like what I can only assume the old, compacted earwax of a very sick, dying, or dead animal would smell like. They appeared normal (normal level of gross) so I was perplexed! I took them out of the shipping box and left them alone until today since I hoped maybe just the box or something smelled but no it is ever single one of the chews in this latest bag that I ordered. As I established… I don’t mind a little stank, in fact I expect a little smelly from the Gross Thing, but this batch was on a whole new LEVEL. I did give my dog one and honestly she didn’t care so I thought that if she was happy I could be happy but no. It was too much, gag-worthy, reeking stinky that made me take the chew from my poor baby and have her watch with those big, crossed-eyed eyes as I threw this Gross Thing in the trash. I do think I am entitled to either be refunded for an order of these or given a lifetime supply as I do have to keep buying them since my dog would likely exact revenge if I stopped. Your move Pawstruck.

This is the third version of collagen chews I've bought from Pawstruck. When we first brought our Aussiedor home, I bought the small collagen knots (but didn't give her any until after 3 months). I also picked up the collagen springs (for when she's a bit bigger). I recently purchased these. They are even longer than I expected. She's right around 25 pounds currently, and can spend an hour chewing on one of these and not even get close to halfway through. One stick lasts her about 3-4 days. I love that they are good for her joints and that they don't smell! She likes the bully sticks as well, but those are very strong smelling for me and a bit more messy.

My Daschund goes through the large sticks in 40mins as she is an aggressive chewer but my mutt goes through the large one for an hour. They clearly love it and keeps them busy. And for once I didn’t have any major reactions when introducing a new treat… I wish there was some kinda bull subscription rates as the per packet pricing is very high so not sustainable…but love the product!
