Nice spatula!

Too large for a smaller pan but it works great and holds larger pieces of chicken easily. Easy to clean.

This is a large Spatula. Trapizoidal shaped, it is 7" x 4" x 6 3/8" x 2 3/8" with a 7 1/8" long x 1 1/16" very comfortable handle. It's overall length is 13 3/4". That's a big spatula. I cook my omelets (and fish) in a 10" Anolon Hard Anadized, Non-Stik low-skillet. I have not been able to find an actual non-stik omelette pan (very low profile with a pronounced out turned edge) like my old, dead and buried Calphalon non-stik commercial omlette pan as Calphalon no longer makes the commercial non-stik pan. Thus, this large spatula is too large to use effectively with my low skillet. The spatula bade is very flexible, the silicone coating is well performed, smooth and thin. The slits increase flexibility and allow excess grease/oil to drain away (this should not be necessary, but...) Imprinted on the blade's steel and visible through the silicone coating is: "Heat Resistant to 600 [degrees]F/315[degrees]C". All in all a very good large spatula. The spatula makes folding the omelette as well as getting it out of the pan much easier, less awkward. it should be good for pancakes too but haven’t tried it on those yet. We have a lot of OXO kitchen tools, have had them for years, and to the best of my recollection haven’t had to replace one or been disappointed in the way any of them function. I’ve heard others remark about what they believe is an above average price tag, but then will end up having to replace their less expensive item several times while whatever same OXO utensil we have is still working fine and even looks almost as good as it did when we bought it.

Good quality as expected from OXO brand, but the head of the spatula is too long and too flexible. Thickness is perfect. It’s giant, and I was looking for a normal size spatula with more support. Quality is great.

Fine out the box. I hope it lasts with dishwasher cleanings.

The best thing i could get. The turners head is big so can actually go below the entire omlette or pancake and turn without breaking. Its flexible so u can use it to press the toast while toasting on stove before turning... Best part is it doesnt burn or melt.

[Update] We've had this handy item now for almost a year, and it's really top stuff. It does what it says, and works great, including high temperatures (stir frys etc). If you're thinking to buy it, just remember it is actually pretty big, and won't be useful for small size pans. Also for whatever reason, the handle is not made of the same high temperature resistant silicone that the paddle portion is made from, so if it gets close to an open flame or heat source, it does melt. Still the product is very good overall.
