Men's OO9290 Jawbreaker Rectangular Sunglasses

I saw these glasses & JUST HAD TO HAVE 'EM!!! The nose piece is a little difficult to change, but that's OK because there's no reason to continually swap them out. The lens change is the EASIEST I have ever had with a set of Oakley's. The feel of the frames is absolutely unexpected and the weight, initially, gives a feeling of weak/cheap. BUT, that initial impression quickly fades when you adjust the ear pieces and slip them on for their maiden voyage. The frames are EXTREMELY light for the size... they actually feel lighter than the Half Jackets I sold to get these. Even after wearing for an extended period, the frames are not at all uncomfortable. If fact, it's quite the opposite. You will get so used to the, that you forget you're wearing them. Yes, they are that comfortable. Even the way the ear pieces wrap around slightly, they still are very comfortable over the ears. Just be prepared, these glasses are HUGE... an I mean MASSIVE!!! If you're like me & LOVE the old Mumbo and pre- "M"-frame type glasses, these will be the glasses that you'll absolutely want. With a clear, unobstructed field of vision & shaded peripheral vision from the futuristic Oakley "O", these glasses look like they're about to either "transform & roll out" or have a light-cycle form around them on the game grid. They absolutely look like a cross between a Transformer & something from Tron. The vented lens even adds to the overall futuristic feel. You will almost have a feeling like: Doc Brown, "Roads? Where we're going we don't need.. roads." Then all of a sudden, flip down the glasses and hear, "you got the touch... you got the power" as you lunge forward and take off at breakneck speed leaving a trail of light behind. If you've got the cash to drop on these glasses, they are WONDERFUL. I don't have the regrets that sometimes follow a big purchase like this. But given I know how long a pair of Oakley's will last me... this is one purchase that has me sleeping like Ralphie after getting the "Official Red Ryder Range Model Air-Rifle" But in my dreams I'm busting off hip shots like Cyclops from X-Men.

Absolutely love these glasses. I just wore them today. I purchased them from the good reviews. I bought some other glasses from a bike store that were photochromatic. They were ok, but my sweat would drip onto the lens and it was annoying. In addition, the pbotochromatic effect didn't seem to work that well. I bought the jawbreaker with a low light lens and purchased the road prizm separately. I replaced the low light lens with the prizm and it performed flawlessly. My sweat does not drip on the lens...awesome! Also, ibwas able to see the path I take very well. The last part of the first half of my journey is covered in trees and a few underpass. With my photochromatic lenses, everything was still a little dark. With the road prizm, I was able to easily adjust to both light and dark conditions. I absolutely love the glasses for cycling. There peripheral vision is also awesome and if you lift your head just a little tou can see everything on the road in front of you. They are just what I needed. I am not sure if I would wear them off the bike, but i have other glasses for that. I am Totally pleased with my purchase.

I love the sporty look on these glasses! Great for sports or even shooting!

OAKLEY JAWBREAKER PRISM (8/30/2021)-Ok, I received the sunglasses. I read the critics listed here as well prior to purchasing. I have previous Oakley brands with the lenses now "bubbling. They are at least 5-6 years old. Went for an immediate 20 mile ride. 1). The prism lenses are clear, but not very dark if you are going directly into the sun. I happened to be traveling west into the late day sun, and its bright. At sunset they are dark but not too much. 2). The adjustable ear pieces extend nicely about 1 cm and I found they did not slip off my face an they felt comfortable. 3). Sweat did not seem to get on the lenses themselves, although I had a bicycle cap on. 4). Nose piece is comfortable. 5). Compared to my other Oakley's I did not feel the frame was in my FOV(field of view). Just the opposite, they were the perfect size top, bottom and side views. No obstructions. 6). The only issue w/ plastic lenses is they SCRATCH! Even with the cloth they give you. My advice, DONT use anything other than soap and water in your hand and blow dry. 7). No fogging on the ride. We will wait till cooler weather to assess that characteristic. 8). I did NOT attempt to adjust the angle of the lenses, which is possible as well. Seems they are large enough for my face that I did NOT need to adjust. I am very happy with the size(131mm).

Because this is one-size fits all, naturally it will feel heavier and more bulky on smaller faces. If there is a size that is scaled for a smaller face, it would be better. The fit was neither secure nor comfortable for me, and I was not a fan of the look on me. The field of view is also not as good as Radar EV. I went with the latter.

Well first I've been admiring this glasses because my brother has a pair he wears on our bike rides. I love the green, purple and black color. You have an eagle eye clear visual of the road and no glare. They are a great investment because I no longer experience tearing from the wind. The wide frame blocks the wind from my eyes. They just look great and are very comfortable. They are advertised as men's. They look great and knew they would fit me well because I tried on my brother's pair. I would definitely recommend the purchase. They look much better in person than in the ad.

Gafas bonitas con color llamativo incluso más que en la foto. Son muy cómodas y ligeras, se adaptan perfectamente a la cara. Tiene un buen material y son perfectas para deportes extremos. Aguantan bien los golpes y las temperaturas muy bajas. Mi pareja las uso para esquiar y le resultaron muy cómodas de llevar con el casco. Buena visibilidad incluso los días de ventisca y nieve.

Occhiali molto validi. Le lenti son veramente meritevoli e lo sgancio rapido permette in futuro di sostituirle facilmente. Le plastiche sembrano solide ma per un occhiale da quasi 200€ mi sarei aspettato di più. Incredibilmente dopo un periodo in cui li tenevo d'occhio sono improvvisamente scesi ben sotto i 50€ e non ho potuto farmeli scappare. UN AFFARE PAZZESCO

Die Brille ist meiner Meinung nach nicht schön. Das ist aber nicht der Grund für die 3 Sterne. Wenn die Sonne von vorne kommt, funktioniert tatsächlich die Funktion mit mehr Details auf der Strasse erkennen. Sobald aber die Herbstsonne (ziemlich tief) von der Seite kommt, funktioniert das nicht mehr und die Brille verhält sich wie eine "normale" Brille. Heute war auch nass auf der Strasse... wegen der fehlende Polarisierung sieht dementsprechend alles "glatt" aus. Da sind andere Brillen deutlich besser. Bin heute auch einen Berg gefahren (6min. 12km/h) und da haben die Gläser tatsächlich beschlagen! Beim "normal" fahren war aber alles ok. Wenn man aber beim schönes Wetter fährt und die Strasse trocken ist, ist das eine gute Fahrradbrille. Ach ja, und nach 60 min hab ich die Stellen gefühlt, wo die Brille gedrückt hat. Außerdem kam kein ersatz Nasenklammer bei mir an.
