Came very sharp, smooth opening, blade well centered, blade stays parked well and locks open well, nice light weight for carry. Two minor issues. 1. the sides are a bit smooth for gripping and 2. the screws that retain the clip are a bit too thick and as others have mentioned, do crimp pocket seams. Time will tell if the blade holds an edge well. Update: After a few weeks of carry, I don't like how smooth the Miacarta is. In the pictures it appears to be textured - it is not. Also, as a few others have commented, the liner lock is too low in the frame and is not easy to depress and the screws for the clip do prevent the clip from riding over the pocket seam for jeans. I still like the knife and will continue to carry it but I will take time to correct the deficiencies that I noted. Still it is a very good knife and at a good price. Maybe I'm being picky for a knife in this price range but I would have paid more for it if it came more to my liking. (better textured scales, easier liner lock, flatter clip screws) Update: Darn!! Only 2 weeks old and I lost it - nowhere to be found. I ordered another Sitivien - the 127. It's a little different but I hope it's as good or better than the 112. (It was 8 bucks more.) I have a few sitivien knifes and my only issue is the extremely flimsy pocket clip. It's designed is awful. The curve at the end catches on stuff and causes the clip to get bent very easily. 5 minutes and a vice fixed the catching issue.
