Most of the refills did not work

Not exact
Refills write smooth but not exactly compatible with cross ball point pen. I tried to fit in coventry ball pen, although it fitted but didn't not retract fully leaving the nib about 1mm outside the pen. I tried to fit in Calais ball pen it didn't fit at all. The pen was not twisting. The refill was getting stuck. But the original cross refills which came with those two pens are easily interchangeable. So I can fit the refill in Coventry by some juggad but no way in Calais.
