Sure it can work on lettuce. As long as it's good and sharp and you don't try to run too fast with it. Since lettuce isn't as crisp and firm as cabbage

Funny Looking and Works Great

This looked too gadgety, but I was tired of taking out my mandolin to get thin shreds of cabbage, which I eat a lot. This does the trick very fast and is a breeze to clean, as well as easy to throw in a drawer. Great value for the money.

Amazing!

At first I thought it was a waste of money bc I could just use a regular knife to do the same thing. Boy i was wrong lol. This thing works like a dream! Slices lettuce/cabbage extremely thin & beautifully. Its super sharp too so don’t touch the blade while cleaning it. It feels & appears to be very cheaply made but idc lol. So quick and easy to use😊
