How often should you use this ? By miles or by tanks of fuel ?

The bottle I believe says every 3,000 miles. But I do it every 2-3 fill ups in my VW TDI. It does say however not to overuse so use it with caution.

How do you use this? pour it in the diesel tank or the dpf fluid tank? it seems to me the best way to clean would be a dpf fluid additive?

I had a Ford Powerstroke without a DPF tank, so I just poured it in the fuel tank. I don't know on other brands.
