Swing Top Trash Can

Had to replace my previous bathroom garbage cans cos they didnt have lids on them and my dog keeps going after the tissues. These were a good fit. They have swing lids and its a nice color to match with my mauve-colored bathroom. They are small in size but i prefer it that way since i empty my garbage every 2-3 days (following garbage schedule).

It is the perfect size for what I was looking for. It should work well next season in our small camper.

Attractive but poor quality plastic. Arrived in sturdy box but trash can was somewhat flattened so lid did not fit on well.

I was in the market for a trash can with a lid because my dogs think it's a great idea to go into the trash & enjoy some tissue paper or Q-Tips (yuck). I had several styles in my cart but decided on these because of the price & quantity I was able to get, totally worth the price to have 4 cans which is what I needed. I put a regular grocery bag in them & it fits just fine (yes the handle part hangs over the side but it doesn't bother me the slightest). I'm totally that cheap person & refuse to buy trash bags when I get grocery bags that work just fine for free at the grocery store. The can is sturdy & the lid functions just fine, I saw some reviews saying it doesn't work well & close properly. If you over fill the can (which they're not super big) then the lid will not swivel back to the closed position. I ran into this issue with my children not pushing things down which defeats the whole purpose of me purchasing them so I sent them a friendly reminder to make sure they don't over fill & be sure to push the items down or just empty the can if too full (just as you would with a regular trash can in the kitchen). They are very lightweight, if you don't line up the lid perfectly it will not close properly but all you have to do is put the lid on & move it left/right until its aligned (you can tell it's lined up correctly based on the curved part on the sides).

I got this as a secondary trash can for a large bathroom. It definitely couldn’t serve as the main trash but it works for little things like qtips, tissues, dental floss, etc. The main thing about this trash can that bothers me is that there’s no trash bag ring. So whatever bag you use inside the can, the edges of the bag can’t be easily hidden inside the rim of the trash can. The edges will stick out which looks a bit sloppy in my opinion. But I knew that was the case before I bought it. The other issue I have is that the swing top doesn’t always close by itself. It needs a little help swinging back to its original closed position. The other swing top can I have has a weighted lid that forces it to close after each use. Wish this one had something similar.

Arrived without the lid but color and size were okay. Not as sturdy as other plastic bins. Refund was given with no problems.

I just received it. Easy to use lid , light weighted and real grey ( as it is in photos) but smaller than what I expected. Suitable for use in bathroom
