Great Product & Even Better Customer Service!
I bought the Camplux 1.58 GPM tankless water heater for my off-grid setup, and while the first unit I received had a small issue, I have to say the seller’s customer service was outstanding. They were quick to respond, super helpful, and made the replacement process easy and stress-free. The new unit works perfectly — it heats water quickly and consistently, and the 1.58 GPM flow is just right for showers, dishes, and light outdoor use. I love that it runs on propane with battery ignition, making it ideal for off-grid or camping use. It’s compact, easy to install, and energy-efficient since it only heats water when needed. Overall, the experience turned out great. The heater works like a charm, and I’m especially impressed with the support I received. Highly recommend both the product and the seller!

Works perfect - but i'll add a few tips
If you understand mechanical things, then you'll get this simple heating device. If you don't, be sure to read and follow all directions carefully. Understand that some of the small plastic pieces are not designed to hold a lot of stress - like the quick-connect fittings. Just hand tighten them until you feel the rubber seals compress then let off. Be careful with the battery cover because that lid could break if you bang it up. The gas fitting is very critical to get right or you will have a fireball. This water heater works great. If you don't grasp the concept, then read my explanation to help you understand. The digital readout is nice, but it's not a setting. It's there to tell you the current temperature. If you have a steady water supply, then the temperature will remain steady. This heater basically allows water to flow through a heat exchanger where the flame from the gas heats the water. If you turn up the water flow by using the knob on the right, it will cause the temperature to decrease. If you turn the heater temperature control knob on the left up, then the temperature will increase. The water temperature is dependent upon water flow rate and the gas/temperature control knob. It's extremely simple to understand, but you really need a steady water supply to keep the temperature from fluctuating...steady flow rate and a steady water temperature in as well, because if your water supply fluctuates temperatures is will greatly affect the heater's output. Suppose you're taking a shower using a supply that's 40 degrees and it's getting low and you husband refills the supply container with water from inside that's 70 degrees, then your shower is suddenly going to just to a scalding temp.

Great product and even better company!
This is the first time I have ever written a review of a product. I was compelled to write this after my experience with Camplux. First off the water heater is amazing! I still do not understand how this unit can heat water that fast and that hot (140 degrees). Even the shower head is awesome. The volume of water is just right. The water pressure is not so hard that your wasting water (for those who may be using it off grid like me) nor is it too low. It is surprisingly light weight and easy to hang and store away. I was actually prompted to write this review after my experience with Camplux's customer support team. On my first off grid trip with the water heater I forgot to disconnect it from my water tanks and to drain the unit as instructed. Well, when the temperatures fell into the low 20's you can guess what happened. Yes, everything froze and as a result the shower head broke and the internal water valve cracked. I contacted customer support and they responded immediately. Without any undue hassle they are sending me replacement parts!! How amazing is that?

The shower heads are trash but the heater itself is great
This almost got 5 stars from me, but for some reason, they aren’t using stainless steel for their shower heads and they are rusting and getting clogged up, which greatly affects the water temperature and how high you can set the pressure without it shutting off completely. If you’re marketing this as an outdoor shower heater, you should be using materials that aren’t going to fail if used outside. We’ve had to replace all of the tubing and are now looking at different shower heads. But once you get adequate pressure and no blockages, the heater actually works really really well. Just don’t count on the rest of it.

Doesn’t heat water
So, after a bit over a month and only used about a half dozen times, it’s pretty much expensive junk. It started out strong, getting the water hot enough for a shower on the “eco” setting at about 99 degrees Fahrenheit. But, then each time we used it it wouldn’t get as hot as the last. Now it tops out at 90 degrees on the “full” setting. After a few more uses I imagine the water won’t be any hotter than it is just right from the hose. Oh, and the shower hose blew out after the second shower and we had to replace it. So, yeah, it’s just expensive junk. I recommend you don’t waste your money on this one like I did as I’m now outside of the return window

Incredible off-the-grid ESSENTIAL. Hot showers on demand. Easy to connect & operates flawlessly. Reaches water temp. of 140° +. I usually comfortably shower w/ water temp. around 100°. You will not regret purchasing - works GREAT!

First one received did not work
Company replaced the first one that didn’t work. Second worked well. Wonder if it will last very long, as the battery holder does not seem very sturdy and that’s what allows the water heater to pump the hot water. Wish it had directions for hooking it up to a car battery, rather than use d batteries.

Issue resolved with ease, Thanks Camplux!
Lifespan: bought in 2023, had this now for 2 summers, with around half dozen uses. Handle on/off button broke and stream selector failed so auto shut off pump didn't work. Contacted Camplux support (email) with little hope they would assist on a 2 year old shower head. Wow, was I wrong! Not only did they replace it, the email replies were prompt, the tech was knowledgeable and I had a replacement in no time! Kudos Camplux, for standing behind your great products!

Out of the box gave us trouble and now it doesn't work at all after 6 showers. The seller got in contact with me and resolved the issue promptly and better than expected. Thank you for such great service and customer service.

I connect it to my off grid house. Work good, but not alot of pressure, but that probably just my settings for winter time.

Very happy with this water heater. It is hard to get water hotter than 95f when it is cold outside, as during spring time. During the summer months it has been working great, water temp can easily go over 120f. So need to adjust the settings from time to time. The shower head attachment that comes with it is my only complaint, the connection between the hose and shower head is very flimsy, I will be replacing it. Otherwise this is great and well worth the money.

Installed it been working great for 3 weekends so far

Nice features but the unit is underpowered in cooler temperatures even with dialing back the flow. Also the unit doesn't detect water flow to engage the burners quite frequently. Even with 30psi showing on the pressure tank.
