DAVID ARCHY Men's Undershirts Micro Modal Ultra Soft T-Shirts Stretch Moisture-Wicking V-Neck Tees for Men, 3-Pack (S, Black)

TL;DR - Cotton (Casual daily top), Bamboo Rayon (Fitness & Sport), Micro Model (Fitness & Sport, Sleep, Undershirt). Markings on the T-shirt rub away and are likely just due to shipping. Cotton/Spandex - Heaviest and thickest material, albeit still on the thinner side. Good stretch. Normal draping. Matte finish. I could wear this in summer and still feel a breeze. Texture is similar to Uniqlo Supima cotton, but smoother and feels much softer. Bamboo Rayon - Similar to performance sports material. Medium thickness. Very stretchy. Drapes like fitness wear, so unforgiving in the wrong light. Has a slight sheen to it. Very comfortable for sleeping and activity alike, but not for casual wear. It would work just fine as an undershirt. Micro Modal - Very lightweight material. Similar to Uniqlo Airism material. Very stretchy. Drapes like fitness wear, though it seems to have slightly less of a sheen compared to the bamboo rayon. This material feels the most like an undershirt, but compared to other brands the design can totally be worn as a casual top. PERSONAL IMPRESSIONS I am 5'4 and slim. I purchased the small size. Each fit reasonably well. Not perfectly fitted, but shoulders fit perfectly. Overall length was just a smidge too long, but within tolerance. Width was decent overall, but I found the Micro Modal fit a bit better as it was slightly slimmer compared to the other two. Unfortunate, because I personally would not wear the Micro Modal out as a casual top as I find the material a bit too thin. I typically purchase my basics from Uniqlo, but given the increase in cost and middling quality I am likely to switch entirely over to the David Archy line where I am able. The David Archy cotton T's are comparable in price to the Uniqlo Dry T's, but are at the Supima cotton level quality, which is quite a bit more expensive. I do like the comfort of these shirts let me start off by saying the price is amazing as the calvan Klein versions of this shirt is a better fit for me I am a skinny but tall guy so around the waist this one kind of stretches out a little bit but it honestly doesn't bother me as I bought 3 sets of it and probably getting another set because I want to get them in all colors. Compared to the Klein versions which cost this price for 1 shirt this is a steal. What I like the most about it is its In general super comfortable. I sit at a desk all day for work and don't have to worry about sweating or anything feels good and I'm sticking to shirts like this now I havnt tryed there undewear I might not only because I have the American eagle sport ones in black and they match very well with this but as an all day shirt defiantly like it I know shirts like this are to be worn as an undergarment but u can't see through it and it's much better then wearing regular cotton shirts and out of the dryier it's ready to go no ironing a shirt or lines everywhere just smooth and looks good. I'm all about soft and feeling good for the day and not chocking myself with shirts or worrying about tags some people like designer shirts and what not there nice too but it gets stuck to you if u have a too cheap of a shirt ect.. I would say in general give it a try I'm stocking up on them because it's my favorite shirt just like my undewear I usually buy them in bulk or if there's a sale I will get like several of them because it's always good to have a few.

I ordered 2 3packs of black V-neck size small undershirts. I can't speak for the quality yet as I haven't worn them or washed them. However, I received 2 packs of what appears to be different versions of the same product. One pack contained 3 undershirts that appeared more silky and smooth, had no creases, and even had a label "silky smooth" and fit perfectly. The other pack, same size, appeared creased, no label saying silky smooth, and fit tighter. See photos. The material also looked thinner. I'm not happy with this! I expect to receive the same higher quality product.

Something about the shirts changed since I first bought them. They do not fit as well overall or on the biceps. I am disappointed in the newer product. I reduced the stars to 3 from 5. My current comments are that the shirt is cut differently throughout and in the arms. The small should fit me and my arms snugly but does not. The small is a little sloppy on me and the arms are not snug on my arms. I bought these shirts because they fit me snugly for the first time in a T-shirt. I hate T-shirts that are all sloppy and the arms big. As the material is stretchy there is no good reason why the arms have been changed in the negative way. I am, as you can tell, very disappointed. My earlier comments were: Size small fits well and looks great (all other t-shirts I have to buy medium). This is the most comfortable and best looking t-shirt I have every worn. I will buy more, in black and in white. Comfortable, cool in hot weather and warm in cold weather. First t-shirt that ever fit my biceps properly as the material tightens nicely around the upper arm. Travels well too; when all other clothing looks wrinkled coming out of the suitcase, this t-shirt looks smooth and polished when worn. Equally at home in this t-shirt on the beach, in the yard, in stores, at professional events, by itself or under a jacket.

Purchases medium in white. I am 5'10" and 165# and they fit well. These shirts are very smooth and elastic. I wear only as undershirt due to my sweet dad bod. Tight fitting but very, very comfortable in both warm and cold weather. I would say you better be ripped and comfortable with male nipple protrusion if you were these as your only layer. I have washed these several times and the white color is holding up well. Some folks complained that the collar is wrinkly after washing and I think they are no worse than cotton Tees. Best if hung quickly after removal from dryer. Others note excess sheen on the collar. I have noticed this. Great product worth the slightly premium price. Update to review: I purchased a total of 6 of these shirts. After couple months wear/washing one of them has exhibited significant unraveling of bottom hem stitching. Still wearable, probably can be repaired. But this type of early failure relative to the cost of these shirts causes me to reduce rating from 5 to 4 star.
