Game changer for canning and steaming too
This steamer I so much cooler to use than my water bath canner. Of course, the middle of the summer is the hottest time to can unless doing early in the morning. Even though we have air conditioning and the range hood in high, it was just too hot to can on those 100 degree days. This canner is the ideal solution. So easy to use and uses less water. The temp gauge is great to make sure the product will be safely canned. Easy to assembly. I was initially concerned about the lid in the top. I looked at a different steamer with handles on lid and bottom and riled it out because there was no temp gauge. I love The temp gauge. To my surprise, the lid is okay to lift the top without a pot holder. Of course I would try carefully and have a pot holder nearby. This steamer has a small hole in the back side that should be pointed away from you. I thought that would be hard to figure out and then realized in the top of the cover is the brand name and the exhaust hole is on the opposite side. I am still working to keep the red arrow attached to the gauge as it keeps falling off and it is so tiny and could easily be lost. Probably assembly error on my part. I set the little red arrow aside till I figure this out. This gauge has letters rather than temps which is okay as you just need to set the gauge and be sure to read the manual for explanation. I just canned a batch of chutney and it was so much easier. I liked that I did not have to lug the full canning pot to the sink to empty. I would have to wait till it cooled down (sometimes Overnight) to empty. Great steamer too. I had a huge Napa cabbage that I wanted to make stuffed cabbage. I cut off the bottom of the cabbage and removed the leaves and placed in the steamer and will assembly the cabbage rolls when the cabbage cools. I look forward to steaming corn on cob or dumplings or whole cauliflower or broccoli. I don’t have to break in little pieces to fit into our small stove top steamer. Game changers. If you ever water-bath canned and gave iPad or few tired Of the water bath Processes, try this steamer. Even though I have all the extra canning tools that came with this steam Canner, It is alway worth it to have extras.

Perfect for Induction & Easy Canning!
This stainless steel steam canner is exactly what I needed! It heats up quickly and works perfectly on my induction cooktop, which can be hard to find with some canners. The temperature indicator is a great feature—it takes the guesswork out of canning and ensures everything is processed at the right temperature. It’s also lightweight compared to traditional water bath canners, making it easier to handle when full. Cleanup is simple, and the quality feels durable and well-made. If you're looking for a reliable, easy-to-use steam canner, this is a great choice. Highly recommend!

Easy to use
This works great on my induction cooktop. Was very easy to move and made my applesauce, jams and pickles much easier to process than my water bath canners.

Much easier and more efficient than a water bath canner
I will be making comparisons to a traditional water bath canner (like the granite ware ones), and will state whether it’s a pro or con. This canner uses a lot less water, which in turn, requires less energy and time to heat (pro). It’s lightweight, lighter than my granite ware even without water and especially with water. That means emptying the water after canning is much easier (pro). It has a max processing time of 45 minutes. It shouldn’t be used to process over that time, or the canner may run dry and cause damage. That makes it tricky when canning tomato products, which can take 35-50 minutes under 1000ft (processing time gets longer the higher the elevation). I personally do not risk it, and only can pickles and fruit in the steam canner, and use the water bath canner for tomatoes. If all you’re canning is pickles and fruits, this is the superior choice. Rather than waiting 30-45 minutes to heat a water bath canner for something that only takes 10 minutes to process, this is the better solution. If you’re only canning tomatoes, don’t buy this canner (con). Size wise, this holds 7 quarts, same as my water bath canner. Some miscellaneous comments: The indicator knob on top has an odd design. You’re supposed to calibrate the canner before you use it the first time and at the beginning of every new canning season. There are instructions in the manual on how to do that. But when you look at the indicator, it has those green zones for your elevation for when to start timing; those don’t mean anything, they’re useless background. You have to make a mark when you calibrate when it’s full of steam, then you start the timer. I question why they added those green zones when it actually has no meaning. (as shown in the picture, I marked it too early, but I know to start time when it goes past the line I made) I’ve used this canner about five times, and the inside changes color based on where the water was sitting. The rack and the bottom pan look different than when I initially received it and used it for the first time. It seems to be just a visual change, and hasn’t caused any problems.

Easy to use
Works great. I have canned for years but now it’s faster and easier! I do still use my pressure canner for some things.

Great buy
This is a great canner. Takes a bit of time to get used to since I've only pressure and water bath canned for about 30 years. But it does a great job. I'm very, very happy with it! I would buy this as a gift for a family member or friend!

Arrived in good time with a small ding in the side that I assume happened in transport . Very easy to put together , you will need a pz2 screwdriver or similar . Set up and calibrated easily just follow easy instructions . The price is great no import duty or shipping charges from the US .

This is the one to buy! I did purchase the cheaper version and it's not held it's shape after dropping it! This one, however is definitely sturdier and just by picking it up you can feel the quality. As my Mother would say, "buy nice, or buy twice". I use this steam canner 3 or 4 times a week. It can hold 8 pints easily. I am on a well, and it takes less water than a water bath canner. I'm only 4' 10" and a senior, and I can easily lift it onto and off my glass top stove without help. I don't need to worry about breaking the glass on my stove and it takes up less storage space as well. 5 stars? Should be 10 stars!

This steam canner is absolutely fantastic! It has made the canning process faster, easier, and far more efficient than traditional water bath methods. It heats up quickly and uses much less water, which means I can start and finish a batch in a fraction of the time. The even steam distribution ensures that everything seals perfectly every time — no more guessing or reprocessing jars. The construction is solid and well-made, with a sturdy base and a clear lid that makes it easy to monitor the steam level. The built-in temperature gauge is a great feature, taking the guesswork out of when it’s ready to start timing. Cleanup is also a breeze since there’s no huge pot of boiling water to deal with. It’s lightweight, easy to store, and works perfectly on my glass-top stove. Whether I’m canning jams, pickles, or tomatoes, the results have been consistently excellent.
