Good quality brushes. Nicely put together. Hardly a stray bristle in my wax. I use them for my encaustic art. Seemed like a good price for the 3 sized brushes as well.

These goat hair brushes are very good for the price. A friend suggested I put a line of glue at the base of the bristles. They hold an amazing amout of water. At first use, it is possible to get a wedge point on the smaller brushes. A good value.

Well , I’ll tell you about the shedding . It sheds at first painting , better at second, now no longer sheds ! I love the clouds made by this brush ! The second piainting is if “Bates Ranch “ imaginary but special because my Mr. Bates passed this summer of 25:(( But it’s a good thing I did it then !

The brushes have a nice soft hair. However if you’re using oil paints, the hairs tend to come off the brush.

They’re decent quality and great value for my money. Very soft and holds a lot of water. My only issue is it takes a lot of cleaning and painting before all the stray bristles and fuzz are gone. It sheds quite a lot in the beginning. But I’d still purchase them again as it’s become my go to brush for large washes and fun textures now that it’s worn in.

These are wonderful paint brushes. I have only had a few to shed. Easy to clean I use them with my Sumi art. The hold a lot of ink. They are soft. Great product

Real hake brushes not fake ones. These should work perfectly for applying water and doing gradients. For those who don't know it's pronounced Ha-kay not Hayk or haykee. Well made good softness and bristle length. Minimal shedding.

I have had these brushes now for a few months. I had read the reviews about shedding so when they arrived with instructions to wash them thoroughly to remove any loose bristles I did. Very few bristles came out and I have had no shedding since. I use them a lot. They hold a lot of water so the are great for wetting your paper when doing wet in wet technique. The bristles are also very soft. Highly recommended!

I was expecting these brushes for the price to be just so so. I must say that I was greatly surprised. They hold a beautiful amount of water, I didn’t find any hairs left behind on my work surface, new watercolour painting. I also love using them as a large Paintbrush as well beautifully maneuverable. The goat hair is very fine and have a good quality… The only problem I have is trying to get them away from my cat. She absolutely loves and rubs her face and then goes crazy for them. She licks them like they’re a long lost friend , I have to say I’m afraid to admit this I actually painted eyes on one the smallest, and gave it to my cat !

Love these. Smooth, holds plenty of medium, cleans up easily, and no stray bristles falling out!

holds lots of paint or water-- but even regular washing prior to use, they still leave lots of bristles on your painting

This is my first time using hake brushes and I absolutely love them. They are super soft and hold lots of water and paint. I would totally buy these again. Shedding is minimal, normal amount for a new brush, and after you rinse a few times no more shedding.
