Pipe size is critical for this machine
Unless your pipe will fit snug in this machine, you will be unable to properly shave the pipe and make a good weld. There is no information in the description that tells you what size pipes it will hold well. Even though I am using a commonly used pipe, HDPE SDR 17, it falls between two clamp sizes. So too big to clamp down, or too small to hold securely. Seems to not be engineered for the imperial system, MM only. Customer service will respond to you for help with questions, very responsive, and will authorize returns if needed. However, keep in mind that it will cost you just slightly less than the cost of the machine to send back. Not free returns.

Does not fit Standard size pipe. Could not return.
This does not fit standard sized pipe (inches). We purchased it and found out on the job site that it is in mm not inches. See photos.
