Instructions: 1, Using a larger size microwave oven.Microwave should be at least 1000 watts for best results. 2, Clean ready glass and kiln tray. 3, Kiln paper cut larger than glass pieces,put it on top of the kiln tray. 4, Place kiln tray into the microwave oven.Cover the kiln lid and set the microwave temperature as "HIGH",heating around 6-8 minutes. 5, The hole in the top glows orange when the kiln is at fusing temperatures. 6, Carefully remove the kiln wearing insulated gloves to kiln shelf for cooling about 30 minutes when firing is complete.

If you read the instructions and use the precautions and don't do more than asked, it works perfectly. No fire in the microwave yet to date. Had it for 4 months now.

A: I don't think you can use mosaic tiles in the kiln as stained glass.

**Q: What is the COE of the glass that comes with it?**
A: The glass that comes with it is 90 COE.

**Q: Do you put the pieces of glass on a square piece if glass or can they go directly on the kiln paper**
A: They can and should go on the paper.  If you put it on another piece of glass it will fuse the two pieces together… unless that is what you were trying to do

**Q: Can a jewelry mold be used in the microwave kiln**
A: No molds, however, you can kiln paper to create shapes.

Read a lot of reviews and did research. Was almost scared off of trying this but knew I couldn't afford a real kiln or glass oven, not now anyways. This worked well. If you read the instructions and use the precautions and don't do more than asked, it works perfectly. No fire in the microwave yet to date. Had it for 4 months now.
